At first, it was a blur. All I could make out was a white screen with bubbles all around. As my vision cleared and my breathing steadied, that's when it all began.
Now , I'll try my absolute best to describe what I saw but it still won't be close. There were tiny fishes everywhere. The water was divine blue. No amount of mixing colours in a palatte can give you the colour of the ocean. I was too engrossed in absorbing the surroundings to notice Nicky who was right beside me.
I startled her by taking her hand and slowly swimming towards a big rock that had a huge number of aquatic plants that even I failed to recognise. Bright orange coloured clownfish were peeking out from sea anemones. Nicky pointed out to one of them probably wanting to scream "Look ! Nemo !!"
Nemo ? Sure ! Why not ?
Our cylinders were attached to our boats so we had to be in a radius of ten metres. I pointed towards a ridge at a small distance telling her that I wanted to go there. She hesitated at first but held out her hand anyway. Our flashlights were attached to a part of the cylinder which we had fixed to our head so that it flashed a light wherever we turned our head to.
Nicky saw a small lionfish lurking near one of the rock and went to touch it. I smacked her hand away (tried to).
A lionfish is poisoness you ass ! I mean , honestly ! Look at those pincers jutting out ?

There was silence except for the waves hitting the boat. Not a word spoken by anyone. It was tranquility ! Meditation...
"It was beautiful Reyna. Did you know it was going to be this good ?", Nicky whispered finally breaking the silence.
I turned from the railing I was holding and shook my head," No. I just had an idea. I didn't know."
Nicky nodded and went back to being mute. Honestly , I had never in my life seen Nicky this silent and it was like she didn't want to break it ... Knowing how fragile it was.
I silently went an put an arm around her. She rested her head on my shoulder. That moment I knew I had made the right decision of getting her with me. She appreciated it just as much as I did.
Adventure ! Something that leaves you speechless and then turns you into a storyteller ! ❤️
