Two Tails

Chapter Five- "The Pack"

The drive to Aatu's pack house was quite inventible. Well, I'd say that. But damn! The pack house was huge! it might even be a bit larger than my -former- pride's house. I watched as Aatu gestured me into the house. I walked in. It felt strange. I was surrounded by werewolves, not werecats for one. But the feeling was strange in general. I was kinda used to werecats but still. I looked around. All eyes were on me. "Luna!" One of them said with an excited voice. I chuckled, as a girl with pink-red, long hair ran up to me. She bowed.

Bowed? I was only the Luna, and she bowed?

I stared at her with wide eyes. "Alpha promised I would be able to be the servant of the Luna when he found her." She said, standing up straight. "My name's Kassana by the way." She grinned. I smiled. "Kassana. I like it." I said with a glance at Aatu, who shrugged. "So, do you want me to get you anything Luna?" Kassana asks politely. I shake my head. "No thanks. And, you can call me Petra."

"Okay then Petra." Kassana smiles. I look at Aatu, "Kassana will show you around the pack house." Aatu says. I nod, "Good." When I looks at Kassana her eyes are gleaming. "Follow me." She says, and I follow her as she leads me around.

Turns out this pack house has three floors- the top floor is for the top ranks [Alpha, Luna, Beta, Beta Female, the Third, and his mate, and Kassana]. The second floor is for the middle ranks [Guards and warriors]. And the bottom floor for the lowest ranks [The Omegas and servants]. I was quite surprised when I found out this place had a sauna and a gym...And an INDOOR POOL! The last place Kassana showed me was the kitchen and dining room, then we headed upstairs to go to bed.

I waved a goodnight to Kassana, and opened the door to Aatu's room. I was greeted with a "Hello" from Aatu. I smiled. "If don't mind, I'll be sleeping on the couch tonight." I tell Aatu. Aatu's face dropped, but he nodded. "I understand. The couch is all yours." I grin and nod at him. "Thanks." I then looked around.

Once the couch was spotted I gave an approving nod, and took of my heels, I walked over to the couch. And Aatu covered me in a blanket. "Sleep well." He said, and was about to kiss my forehead when I growled at him. "Don't even go there." I warned. Aatu raised his arms. "Okay with me." He said with a chuckle. I rolled my eyes, and turned over. I heard footsteps, and a rustle as Aatu got underneath the covers. Soon sleep overcame me.
Dream
I ran through the forest, a tiger on my tail. Literally. I'd shifted into Isa just a bit before. I glanced back, and huffed. Two tigers, how could this day get any better?
I pounded on faster, but was stopped by a river in my way. I looked at the rushing current, if I went in then I would drown. I looked behind me, and turned around. I braced myself for the other cat's claws in my fur. But the tiger stopped in front of me.
What surprised me is when she shifted. The tiger looked at me with angry eyes, it circled me. I watched it closely, turning slowly with the person.
Then I realized who it was...My mother.
I widened my eyes, and watched my mother circle me. Soon another person came and joined my mother. She looked maybe one year younger than me, and she had a wide smirk on her face. "You've no place in my Pride now." My mother sneered. The girl chuckled, and looked at me.
Something didn't feel right. "Romy here, will make a much better Holy Daughter than you." My mother said with a haunting laugh. I lowered my head, shaking it.
"You'll never be a good Luna either. You have no place among weres. And you never will." The girl, Romy, sneered, and kneeled down. "Because you're a hybrid." I jumped back at what she said.
My mother and Romy laughed coldly, while I just stood there, petrified.
I began to feel a poking on my back. I looked around. "Petra." A voice said. "Get up." The voice was strangely calm, and familiar. Then came a sharp jab.
End of Dream
"PETRA!" I opened my eyes blearily, and turned to see Aatu's face. I grunted and turned over. "Let me be." I grumbled. Aatu poked me again. "Get up sleepy head. We have a big day ahead of us."
