~~~Floyd Lawton aka Deadshot~~~~~
"What the," I groaned as I opened my eyes to Poison Ivy and her infamous, disapproving glare.
"Believe it or not," I began as I tried to fight off the vines and weeds that had me tied to this chair, "not the first time a woman has tied me up to a chair. I won't lie, sometimes it was for fun reasons others... not so much. Now how about you tell me which category of reason this whole shindig falls into. I'm prefer the latter, but--"
"Quick your rambling, Lawton!" Said Ivy as she raised her hands and made the grip around me tighter and unbearably painful. "What a grand tale I have to tell the masses. Finding Deadshot pitiful on the ground--"
"Sleeping like a baby," I interrupt which made the grip even more unbearable.
"A baby with his ass in the air and face smashed into the ground." She snapped with a half smile plastered on her emerald skin.
I scrunch my face,"Not all babies are cute."
Ivy raised her hand as she gave a fake smile. I felt the vine get even tighter. I couldn't help the painful moan that escaped my lips. "Waller wants you,you traitor. But her mind doesn't have the capacity to truly torture you. I have more than several ideas on somethings we can begin with."
I coughed a bit and groaned a response, "I'm always up for some foreplay, Babe." I couldn't help and scoff as she gave a disgusting sigh.
"Shall we begin?" Ivy asked.
"Ready when you are."
Poison Ivy smirked as ravenous plant eaters sprouted from the ground. Their green heads were covered with dust from the concrete they just broke through. They hissed at me as they showed off their musty fangs. Before they could attack, Killer Frost busted through the door.
"Come on, Ivy. You know Waller will have your ass if you even breathe wrong around him."
Ivy gave a disappointing sigh, "I suppose you're right." She turned on her heels and followed Killer Frost of the room.
"Shit." I allowed my head to fall back as I sucked in some air. These suicidal assholes! Waller really must have it bad for me to go through all this trouble. I allowed a weak laugh escape me.
"There is no reason for you to laugh," spoke an unknown voice.
I closed my eyes and burst into a wreck of dry giggles.
"Listen asshole, I'll laugh about what ever the fuck I want--" I open my eyes to Moone and her crystal like eyes. "Moone! Shit! I'm sorry...I didn't mean to--."
She broke eye contact with me which made me stop talking. I didn't know what to say. She looks disappointed and betrayed.
"Listen," I began, " I didn't leave because of you or anything like that."
"You're a real self absorbed asshole, Floyd. I know you didn't leave because of me. You saw an opportunity to get out and you took it. Who can blame you? I would've done the same thing. It's just...You're trapped again. No way out. And I'm one of the things in your way."
I shook my head, "Woah! Hey, Moone, look at me." She hesitated but looked up at me. Her eyes fighting back tears. "You are never in my way. Not then, not now, and not ever. Okay? Hell, if anything, you were the only thing that made the squad bearable. That and Shark's boy next door good looks."
She gave a weak laugh as she wiped away a tear with her hand.
"See. No matter what, I always make you laugh. One of my many skills."
"I can't get you, Floyd."
"I don't need you to worry about me, Moone." I gave her a reassuring smile
"There's something I been dying to tell you."
"You can tell me anything you want. I'm all ears, Babe." I said as she blushed.
"We were never able to have a proper ki--" Before she could finish, several guns were heard firing outside. Moone covered her ears in fright as we could hear the rest of the squad trying to fight back.
