~Harley Quinn~ (During the last two chapters)

Mr. J was busy with the 'guest of honor' as he puts it. Since his idea of having a ball, he only worries if the 'guest of honor' would approve. Wasn't this whole mumbo jumbo about me?

"Harley," Said a random henchmen. "Joker just finished with Ba--, I mean the guest of honor. He wants to see you before the big showing. Follow me to the ballroom."

I couldn't help but smile as I follow the guard. He walks unbearably slow in front me. With frustration coming over me, I pushed him to the side.

"Jeez, I think I saw a turtle pass you while giving you the bird!"

I jogged to the ballroom's backstage and quickly scanned the dark room. No sign of him. I pout as I close the door and walk deeper into the room.

There were a couple henchmen scattered around the backstage. But I didn't give mind to them.

"Harley," said an unknown man behind me. I turned to Giggles who towers over me.
"Who do you think you are? Batman?!" I pointed to Giggles and bursted into an outrageous fit of laughter. But my laughter died out as I saw Giggles' face grow stern.

"You don't really like me, do you?" I asked as I regained my breath.

Giggles scoffed, "It ain't my job to like you. Joker doesn't pay my enough for that."

"I'm going to make you like me, you'll see." I said with glee.

"Listen, I got something better to do. Some asshole broke the ferr--"

"Perhaps I'll invite you over for some tea," I interrupted Giggles, "but I can't promise it won't be poisoned."

Giggles just glared down at me, jaw tighten as his brow furrows.

He opened his mouth to speak, but I pulled up my finger and stopped him.

"Awh, who am I kidding?" I playfully slapped his cheek. I got on my tippy toes and whisper into his ear, "Of course it'll be poisoned."

Giggles took a step back while looking me up and down."Like I said, I have something better to do." Giggles turned around. But he stopped and turned his head to me.

"I guess I don't need that extra pay to make me like you."

"There's only one man here who's opinion of me matters. And mister, you ain't got his smile."

Giggles gave a half smile as he walked away.

After a moment of enjoying beating Giggles at his own game, I jumped to the sound of a window breaking down below.

"Ya know what that means, boys!" Roared a clowned up henchmen as the other scattered to their assigned locations. They look like chickens with their heads cut off.

I went to the vanity mirror and applied black lipstick and fixed any smudges.

"I think red would be more befitting."

With the help of the mirror, I saw my clown Prince behind me. He wrapped his arms around my waist as I turned to him. I snaked my arm around his neck.

"I like my lips black," I gave him a soft and kiss quick on the lips, "so I can see the print of my lip on your red lips. It shows that you're mine and shows any floozy girls that this clown already has his own harlequin."

Joker smirked as he gave a growling laugh. "Very territorial, aren't we? You have nothing to worry about, Pooh. You know I'm a one woman type of man. Now the real question is, Ms. Quinn." He traced the outline of my lips, "Are you a one man type of gal?"
