Friday, a.k.a. somebody come and slaughter me. I still don't understand why everyone makes such a big deal of freaking friday. 'End of the week, yay!' 'No school, yay!' 'It's the weekend, yay!' Why does it matter? End of the week, okay, well there's another week two days later, stop making such a big thing out of nothing.
Frustration, of course. What a beautiful way to start off the day. Ladies and gentlemen, the morning routine will begin now, enjoy!
So first I sloppily carry myself out of my bed towards my closet. I open it up and pull out the first outfit I can find. After trying it on and deciding it's not what I want and trying two other outfits on, I eventually go with the first one anyway. Females, hurray! When I'm fully dressed, I head to the bathroom and on my way there I pick up everything I see that might be useful for today and stuff my bag with it. It's not even a bag anymore, it's like a fancy trash can. Moving on, in the bathroom I cleanse my face, because it still has a ton of makeup on it from yesterday, because I don't properly remove my makeup. Who has time for that anyway? I brush my teeth and I cover myself in deodorant and perfume and makeup. A lot of makeup, don't judge me. When that's done, about an hour has passed and I start to almost, I said almost, panic because I might be running late to get to my work. But because almost is never enough, I carry on being slow and sloppy in my ways. I then stroll to my kitchen and gulp down an entire glass of milk. I also add a banana to my bag and eat some strawberry yoghurt before I'm done with the kitchen. Then I usually check my time and realize I'm never going to make it if I don't leave now, so that is exactly what I end up doing. Leaving the house and heading to my work, ready for the most crappy day of all time.
And that's how every morning when I work has been for me for the past two years. Boring, I know. But just like my boss has told me several times when I'd started working for him: "Get used to it."
