Kol - Mikaelson Ball

You first met Kol by literally bumping into him at the Grill, causing him to spill his drink. He looked annoyed at first which scared you but then he looked up at you and he smirked before saying "Well, hello beautiful." In his sexy British accent. To which you returned "Hello Asshole."

Ever since then you joked around with each other, apart from the one day when you told each other your life stories. That day you realised that he is not just an idiot who flirts 24/7 but someone who has been through a lot of family trauma. It was also the day that you realised you had completely fallen for him.

Friends of yours claim that the feeling is mutual but you can't understand why someone like him could fall for someone like yourself.

However he did invite you to the Mikaelson Ball and it is the reason why you have not stopped smiling for days.

After 5 hours of shopping with Caroline, you settle on a classic rose coloured dress. Now you're at home choosing which pair of heals to wear with it.

"Go with the silver ones." Your Mum says from behind you. She has no idea about the Supernatural world and you plan to keep her out of it.

"Thanks." You smile before embracing her.

"Spill the gossip." Your Mum says.

You pull a confused expression. "What do you mean?"

"You have not stopped smiling for days." She raises an eyebrow. "So... what's his name."

Quickly your cheeks blush. "Umm... it's Kol. He asked me to the ball."

"Well you look beautiful." She says as she stands behind you in the mirror. Your hair is perfectly curled and your make up is natural.

"Would you like me to take you there? I won't embarrass you, I promise." Your Mum joked.

You giggle. "It's okay, Elena is taking me." You hear a horn go off outside. "That must be her."

Soon enough, you arrive on the Mikaelson's driveway.

As elegantly as you can, you walk into the mansion. Elena is taken by Damon straight away and you are left there on your own. You feel a pair of eyes lingering on you, quickly you turn to face them. It's Kol. When he notices that you're staring back he smirks and walks towards you.

"Well, hello beautiful." He says as he takes your hand and kisses it. You smile, knowing that was the first thing he ever said to you.

"Hello Asshole." You say to which Kol sniggers.

Elijah gives a speech about family traditions and then asks everyone to go into the ballroom where the dance will be held.

From the corner of your eye you see another girl checking out Kol. You scowl at her which makes her look a little scared until she looks away. You try to hold in a giggle.

Kol holds out his hand for you, with a cheeky smile plastered on his face, "Ready to dance?" He questions.

You take his hand and walk towards the ballroom with the crowd. "Of course." You answer.

Both of you get into position and the music starts, you smile when you recognise the song by Ed Sheeran called Give Me Love.

Everyone dances in sync and you discover that Kol was a truly brilliant dancer, he made it look so easy. You look into his eyes that are looking straight back at yours.
