Damon: Just an hour ago Damon rescued you from an abduction, which was put in place to hurt him. To make sure you were 100% save he told you that he was staying at yours over night, for protection.
Finally, you reach your house and collapse on your queen sized bed. Damon follows shortly behind you and closes your door, even though there is no one else in the house because your family had gone traveling.
On the other side of the room he sits on your chair and puts his head in his hands. You knew he was stressed out about everything that was going on.
Slowly, you walk over to him and lift his chin up so his eyes are looking into your own. "Thank you for being my Knight in Shining Armour tonight."
Abruptly, he stands up. "Stop thanking me Y/N. It my fault you were taken in the first place!" He yells.
You put your hands gently on his face, "Hey, calm down I'm perfectly fine. It's not your faul-"
He puts his hands on your shoulders, trying to push you away. "I'm dangerous to be around. Why can't you see that I am bad for you?" He questions.
"Because I love you!" You yell even louder.
He doesn't reply, in fact he seems to calm down. He turns to the door to leave but quickly changes his mind and crashes his lips to yours.
Next he swiftly removes your vervain necklace. "Damon.. no... don't you dare!" You cry.
"Y/N I want you to forget you ever loved me. From now on you want nothing to do with me, all I do is get you into trouble." He compels you.
It didn't work. You still remember that you love him but you don't understand how. Deciding to play along you say "It's all your fault, you get me into trouble all the time, I don't want to see you any more. Ever."
Damon let's a tear slip as he walks out the house. You lay on your bed trying to figure out how his compulsion didn't work. The coffee at the Mystic Grill. That must be it, you recently drank some and Sheriff Forbs told Matt to put vervain in it.
How could Damon do that to you? How could he do it to himself? Changing your mind you storm out of the house to catch up with him. He was about to drive away when you stand in front of his car.
Shocked, Damon climbs out and walks towards you. "What the hell Y/N, what are you doing? I told you to forge-"
"You don't get to do that Damon! It's my life and so it is my choice. I want to be with you forever, don't you dare compel that away from me!"
A small smile appears on his handsome face. "Forever?"
Slowly you nod your head. "Forever. Turn me, I am ready. Then I can protect myself."
"You are sure?" He asks concerned.
"Yes."
