● Holding and kissing your hand during the birth.

● Promising your child to protect them, Always and Forever.

● Telling them historical legends to help them sleep.

● Helping them with school work.

● Getting Auntie Rebekah to babysit so he can take you out somewhere magnificent.

● Organising play dates with cousin Hope.

● Gently calming your child down with jokes and loving promises when they have nightmares.

● Teaching them to play the piano.

● Inviting their boyfriend/girlfriend around for a fancy dinner.

● Accepting their boyfriend/girlfriends wish to marry your child.

● Helping with wedding plans getting emotional when the day comes.

● Helping with grandchildren and inviting them to your house, so they can play in the big garden just as your child did.
