The hall was packed with wolves, their faces stricken with worry. They knew their children and mates were safe, but didn't know about anyone elses.

The bond in this pack cannot be broken. It's strong, even between the odd ones in the pack, the ones which are unpopular, rejected by their mates, and have very weak wolves.

That was a good point to come across in a later speech.

I tapped the microphone. I wasn't scared of delivering the speech. They should be slightly scared of me.

"Hello pack members. I will not keep you in the darkness about the past rogue attack, as it is late at night, and you must want to return to bed"
I coughed, the same citrus and pine wood scent filled my nose. Stupid pot-purri, yet as I smelt the scent more, I realised there was a slight hint a cinnamon in it. Then I noticed the wrapper for a cinnamon crunch bar on the floor.
"No pack members were harmed" I almost spat out, something was pushing me further, I didn't want to stop speaking. "Now, you need to know more about me. At the moment I am just a figure of authority" I adressed them, but I wanted to be more casual in my speaking "I'm just fourteen, I know it's odd, most alpha's stay human until they're eighteen, but at first it wasn't me in line to become the alpha, it was my brother, but he ran away, just as the title was to be passed on to him. He ran before I became a werewolf, but our history had changed. The world has had to bend around this tribe. I was ready to shift, just days away, so I did shift then, but we needed an alpha shortly, so I had to suceed my father, as he is too old to stay as the alpha. I have picked up extra training, so I am just as ready as any eighteen year old alpha" I smiled, and the pack bowed their heads. "As of this unexpected fight, I will cancel school tomorow" Cheers rang in the air, and claps.

I walked out of the hall, confused about the scent that seemed to be following me. I found my best friend, Rose, stood by the back door, flirting with some guy.
"Does my voice sound different?" I asked her, coughing again.
"No. It sounds the same" She broke away from his hold. "Why?"
"Oh...just the beta said..."
"Well, that's weird"
"Can you smell the fresh citrus, the pine leaves, and the cinnamon?"
She gestured to the pine trees towering above us, and she pulled her top down, revealing her neck, and I smelt her neck. It smelt of sweet orange and lemon- citrus. "Oh, and Ben over here just ate a cinnamon bar. I'm not making you smell his breath"
"Rose, you can taste my breath"
With that, she bounced up to him and kissed him on the lips.

Great. With my title Rose had got her own title.
'Give pack-members a good time wolf'

When she finally broke off from him, and whispered those famous words "If you want another good time, call me"

I couldn't blame her, she was fifteen. She had just shifted. One of the few females, like me,

She tottered off, and gave me her full concentration. Her rosy cheeks and pretty  face looked straight at mine, seeing through me.
"Rose Barks, at your service" She said, in a sophisticated way, and I couldn't help but laugh. "what's up with you?"
"Nothing"
"Right. That's a lie"
"Whats that smell then...it reminds me of the first time I met...Colto-"
"We don't need to say his name, do we?"
I shook my head.
"So who is your mate then?"
"I can't tell...maybe it's the beta"
"Well, we'll take it slow, and never make eye-contact. You are too young"
"I-I-I...what if it's just a lie again?" I stuttered.
