Ross's POV
We were at the dimly lit restaurant, wearing fancy clothes for the occasion. Dan looked stunning. This was great, being here with him. We were sitting at our table, which matched the formal decor. Then, I noticed how we were getting all kinds of strange looks from many different people, not from the employees (they were really nice, actually), but from the other people here. I feel Dan hold my hand, noticing my concern.
"You alright?" He asks, and I can't help but look away; I'm ruining this, aren't I?
"Yea, it's just that..." Even now, people were still watching.
"Them? Don't worry about them. You wouldn't let some random strangers get you down, would you?" Dan was right, I knew that. I smile for him; this will be a great night.
"That's the spirit!" Dan smiles back at me, happy at my shift in attitude.
"Th-thanks, Dan," I squeeze his hand nervously, making sure not to hurt him in the process.
"That's what I'm here for, just remember that. I'm always here for you," he looks at me warmly, making me feel warm inside, myself.
"I love you so much," I whisper, meaning what I had said, wishing that there was some way I could ever express it enough to Dan.
"I love you, too," he quietly laughed.
We sat there cheerfully, laughing and smiling. Dan was really funny, and was constantly cracking jokes, making me laugh pretty hard, attracting attention from the people near us, but we didn't care. We were having fun. Dan eventually drove us home after a bit more than an hour.
"We're home," Dan nudged me slightly; I was about to fall asleep, as I was exhausted.
"Hm..." I groaned, "I don wanna get up..." I yawned, staying in my place and waiting for Dan's reaction.
"Ross, what should I do, then?" Dan sighed.
    I laughed, "I don't know."
"Up you go," Dan picked me up from my spot in the car.
"Hey!" I shout in surprise, not expecting to be moved so quickly.
"If you didn't want me to carry you around, you should've gotten up by yourself!"
"I didn't say I didn't wanna be picked up," I pointed out, "I'll stay here," I held onto Dan tightly, in case he decided to try to put me down.
"You can walk yourself!" Dan grumbled, to which I laughed slightly.
"I know, I just didn't feel like it."
Dan brought me inside without another word. Did I get him angry? I didn't mean to get him this worked up!
"Dan? Did I do something wrong?" I ask as soon as I'm placed down on the couch.
"What are you talking about?" He seemed completely confused, to my relief.
"I thought- I thought you were mad at me because I was being a jerk..." I hug him, never wanting to lose him through any stupid action I did.
"I could never bring myself to be mad at you. Ross..." He sighed into my ear, "Let's go to bed. Goodnight, I love you," he brought us both to our bed.
"I love you, too, Dan. I had fun tonight..."
