My mouth is wide open.

It's so gorgeous...

I have never seen this awesome view before.

“Stars are spotless tonight,” Lucas says, looking at the dark sky.

I'm trying to stabilize myself, putting both legs in the same position, I don't want to fall from the roof of the house.

He seems to come here a lot, he has practice.

“They are beautiful.” I declare.

“You know what?” he asks.

I wai fort him to answer himself.

“They say that every star represents someone you love and has unfortunately died.”

“Why?” I enquire, interested.

“Because they're always there, watching you, protecting you.” He looks at me, softly.

“Then... my parents are there right?” I point out them.

“Of course. I like being here, it reminds me that life's hard, but in the end everyone gets through it.”

“I miss them.” I articulate, without even think it. “Gosh, I just miss them so much...”

I CANNOT CRY.

“I'm sure they're proud of you.” “Look at those shining stars, they're telling you to be strong. And to kiss me, but you can listen just to the first thing”

“Oh, you jerk.” I surprisingly laugh.

“Since I've met you, my days at high school are more exciting.” He smiles.

I bit my inside lip.

He's kinda cute.

“Oh, your welcome then.”

“I'm serious, I didn't want to come here at first, I didn't want to change of school, but, yeah, I see now that it was a good idea.”

I smile swiftly, looking at my feet.

“Friends?” He seems to be offering it.

“Friends.” I answer after a long silence.

I feel the wind blowing my long hair and bringing me cold.

I shiver.

“Are you cold?” “let's go inside then.” He says, a bit concerned.

I stand up from the old roof, noticing a big hole on the other side of it.

“Be careful.” I tell him while I walk toward the window that guides us inside the house.

I don't hear his response because suddenly I fell onto the roof, aiming myself not to go further.
I scream hysterically, my hands clutched in the rim.
My legs, swinging on the air, trying to climb up.

“Lea! Wait on there, I'm going to get you up!” Lucas says with a worried voice.

I'm breathing deeply, and I'm tired, so I don't know how much I am going to wait.

C'mon Lucas, hurry up.

Please.

A warm hand touches mine, fetching me calm.

He's here.

And he's going to save me.

“I got you! But impulse yourself a bit, just that!” He shouts.

While I do what he told me, I sense that rocks from the house wall are causing me various scraps on the knees.

His hands hold my arms, and my body finally reaches the rooftop.

I sigh relief.

“Are you fine?” He's breathing hard.

He's still holding me.
Our eyes meet, and one way or another, I experience some kine of good vibration, and also, nervous.

“Ye-ah...” I murmur.

I guess he's feeling it too, there's an awkward silence between us.

“Who's going to be careful this time?” He likes to joke.

I pout like a child.

He laughs, and an adorable dimple appears on his factions.

A single butterfly is starting to fly around my stomach.
