I'm sweating.

After ten minutes of running, I finally arrive at the police officer.

I don't know what to tell them.

I see a man dressed in uniform.

"Hello," I say, tired.

"Hello. What's the matter, child? He's standing too straight.

"M-my grandmother... I can't find her."

The man face turns abruptly happy.

"Is she short and wears a red coat?" he asks.

"Yeah... I think."

"Come with me."

I go behind him.
He leads me to a small room inside the office.

My eyes are watering, she's right in front of me, she's safe.

"Grannie¡" I scream, hugging her.

"Lea¡ Oh, my darling." She says excitedly.

"What happened?" I ask. "I was so worried."

"She got lost. But she forgot any telephone number from her family." The policeman tells sadly.

"Grannie I thought you knew mine." I gaze at her.

"I-I don't know" she utters confused.

"Well, it's okay." "But how did you get lost?" I can't understand...

"What time is it?" she enquires.

"Three o'clock. Why?"

"Your dad should be at home." She says with a smile.

"What?" I pronounce shocked.

"But your mum is definitely working though."

"Grannie what are you talking about. Mom and dad died years ago."

She looks at me stunned.

"N-no... They are alive I remember that I told them goodbye this morning"

"No, you didn't," I say scared.

What is happening?

"Yes..." She screams, crying. "Don't joke with these things, sweetie" "It makes me feel bad"

"Don't push her too much, it's better If we take her to the hospital for a revision." The authorities advice me.

I feel a tightness in my heart that doesn't allow me to breathe properly. I wish I could help her, I wish she could remember everything.
But she must not be ill, I'm sure it's just something temporary.
Please, let it be temporary.
