After all that's happened today I was totally exhausted and looking around I could tell that everyone else was too. We decided that the girls were secure enough to be left alone. It had been a very long day and the last thing any of us wanted to do was eat but I had a feeling that we would be needing our strength tomorrow. It didn't seem right to have dinner at the table without Lyza and Darla so we decided to eat in the living room instead. We tried getting the girls to eat but of course they refused. I knew that Daisy had turned them against us but I couldn't help but feel sorry for them.
After dinner I could bearly keep my eyes open. We all decided to sleep in shifts. Eithan, Pookie, and Lonna would be taking the first shift while the rest of us slept then we would take over around two a.m. It was only nine o'clock and I could hardly hold my head up. This really has been a hectic day.
Lyza and Darla both watched me as I walked up the stairs. Which, if I do say so myself, kind of gave me the creeps. I couldn't help but feel like they were planning something, something big. We definitely couldn't let our guards down. They may have been our friends once but right now they are part of Daisy and can not be trusted.
When people would say...I was asleep before my head hit the pillow...I never quite got what they meant. But tonight I have a whole new appreciation for that saying because once my I was in bed I was out like a light. I don't even remember falling asleep. But the wake up is one I will never forget.
Sebastian ran his hand gently up my thigh sending chills all over my body. I smiled but didn't open my eyes. He nibbles on my ear lobe and whispers, "Love, it's time to get up. Dimitri is waiting for us downstairs." I didn't want to move. I just wanted to stay in this moment and have Sebastian all to myself. His hand moves to my stomach as he turns me onto my back kissing me hard. My body felt like it would explode and any minute. I wanted Sebastian so bad! Right now I didn't care about anything else. He grinds up against me making me moan and kisses me on my neck. Oh my god, what was this boy doing to me! I have never been with anyone before and up until Sebastian I'd never met anyone I would even consider being with. I've known I love him for a while now but we've never really gone this far before.
A knock on the door sends us both flying off the bed. I hadn't notice how into it we were until we were both lying on the floor laughing. Dimitri sticks his head in the room, "I seem to have great timing with you two huh?," his face was bright red with embarrassment, "I was just making sure you guys didn't fall back asleep. Um, sorry!" He leaves the room and again me and Sebastian bust out laughing. "We've got to remember to lock the door. Did you see how red Dimitri's face was?," Sebastian says then helps me up.
He hugs me tight then puts his arms around my waist and pulls me close. Looking in my eyes, he smiles and says, "Do you know how much I love you?" I forgot to breathe. I felt a tear fall down my cheek and he wipes it away. "I love you too Sebastian, I have for a long time now." He smiles, "I know, I can see it in your eyes every time you look at me." He kisses me gently on the forehead and we head downstairs. I never knew that those three little words could make you feel so complete. I never wanted to be away from Sebastian, I truly love him and now I know that he loves me.
When we joined Dimitri downstairs he opologized again but couldn't quite look us in the eyes which made us both snicker.
Darla and Lyza had both fallen asleep. They sat there with their heads hanging to the side looking like their old selves. It made me almost want to untie them...almost!
Daisy's POV
I thought having a tasty snack was all I would be doing here at Dylan Hall. That is, until I saw little Miss Lyza walking around all alone. What was she doing here? And how is it that she is stupid enough to come alone. I finish with the blond twit I was munching on and take the body out deep in the woods. Like so many other times, the head of the school will believe that they have yet another runaway on their hands. It's so easy to make these little teenagers disappear. And since this is a boarding school, it's almost expected that there will be runaways. Which makes it all the more easier for me.
Lyza didn't even see me coming. I grab her from behind and put her in a trance. As she stands there looking at me with the blank stare that I've grown to despise, I try to decide. Do I drain her of every ounce of blood she has or do I make her one of my own!
Unlike most of the trances I've placed, I can see Lyza fighting against it. This one's a strong one, I think I'll keep her. I grab Lyza on both sides of her face and put my mouth to hers releasing some of my power into her. As it fills her body I see the blank eyes she had been staring at me with turn completely black. I pull away from her to get a look at my newest minion. "How beautiful you look with my eyes Lyza. You belong to me now. I want you to go back to your friends and watch for me. Your friend Darla knows how to contact me. You are to tell me of any and all plans that your friends make. Keep the closest eye on Susie, her birthday is coming up and I want to know EXACTLY where she is. I thought I would have to wait until she's eighteen to take her soul but if what Darla says is true then I can take it early. Our little Susie is ahead of her time, her powers are getting stronger everyday. And Lyza, also keep an eye on Darla. Don't let anyone know you've been turned unless you absolutely have to. I have a feeling they have already found out about Darla. I will leave it up to you to decide if Darla is strong enough to be one of us. If you feel that she is too weak...KILL HER! Do I make myself clear?" "Yes Daisy, very clear," Lyza says with an evil smile.
I send Lyza back to her friends sure that she would follow my orders. This one is a strong one, I can't wait to see what all I get to use her for.
