#17: Missing

Yui's POV
Time skip... After 2 months.
The approval of my papers was moved. It's been 2 month since Fushimi-san last contacted us. My routine changed since then. We have body guards and I dont oftenly go to school. Going outside is also prohibbited. Mom asked me to bare with it just for few more months.
News said the Slate was stolen. Scepter 4 had been shut down from work. I've contacting them but their system is down. Even HOMRA's really busy trying to hold back the Green Clan. Where is Fushimi-san right now? Today is a weekend and Grandma and Grandpa stayed home. They are both playing Shouji at the living room. With no one to talk to, I opened the laptop and checked my mail.

"Yui, how have you been? I dont like to say this to you but you have to know. Monkey.... Saruhiko... Joined the Green Clan".

My eyes widened as I read it. There is no way Fushimi-san would betray Scepter 4. There is no way.... I sneaked out and was able to reach the Scepter's Headquarters. All of them are gathered inside the working area. Their face looks like someone died. Yui slammed the table. "Why did the Prime Minister locked you here?", I got angry for some reason. "Yui-chan, I'm sorry. We failed the last mission", Domyouji explained. "Is that enough to lock you here?", I asked. "Yui, the mission is to take care of the Slate. Once the slate is stolen. It will be a bad news", Lieutenant informed. "But... Fushi . brother....", I clenched my fist. They looked away and gritted their teeth. I dont like this. Do they see him as a traitor again? I ran away from that place and start jumping from place to place to spot that monkey. That person has his own reasons. I planted in my mind. Black furry jacket and high boots. Fushimi-san?!!! He joined the large crowd that I lost him. I went inside the crowd and tried to catch him. Right, he can detect my presence. There's no way I'm going to let him go. A hand rested on my shoulders. It was Captain in casual clothes. "Captain, what are you doing here?", I was astonished. "You look pretty as always", Captain praised. I felt hot. To receive that from a King is quite something. "Sorry, I was just being honest and I'm having a training how to live like a normal man", Captain led me into the pedestrian lane. He looks different without his uniform and sword. He looks vulnerable. His sword of Damocles appeared. "Captain", I was alarmed. "Its going out of order", Captain said. We headed at HOMRA. Captain and Anna are having a serious conversation. Yata is just quietly sitting. "I know it was irritating", I opened. "Are there anything you want to tell your brother?", Yata-san asked. I panicked. "Please dont kill him", I begged. "Yui, not as a brother. What would you like to tell that monkey?", Yata-san asked seriously. I calmed myseft.

"Yui is waiting for you".

Yata-san averted his eyes and went out.

No One's POV
The BLUE, RED, and SILVER clan made a contract that they will destroy the Slate. In return, they will loose all their powers. Yui walks at the corridor of her university and saw some students having weird powers. The power of Slate was scattered. A debris was about to fall but someone grabbed her. Getting her face close into his chest. This scent. Yui cried and leaned on him. "Airhead!!! Why did you leave without saying anything?!", Yui cried. "Crybaby as always. I'm not here to apologize. I'll be giving a farewell", Saruhiko pushed her slightly. "Farewell", Saruhiko disappeared in a split of second.

"Yui, I met the Blue King yesterday. He told me that Saruhiko is sacrificing hinself for opening the entrance of the Slate",
Yata

Yui ran as hard as she can to get into the Scepter 4's position. "Captain!", Yui called out loud. The Sword of Damocles are already starting to break into pieces. "Yui, Saruhiki did a great job", Reishi looked up and the Sword fell down. Yui screamed. They slowly lost their abilities. Yui fainted.

Yui lies on the hospital bed with Kisa sitting in front of her. "Mom, Brother... Where is he?", Yui asked. Kisa averted her stares and left the room. After a while, Saruhiko entered the room. Yui stood up and ran to him giving a tight hug. "Stop scaring me like that!!! From this time on, I dont want to hear you give a farewell!!!!", Yui scolded. Saruhiko chuckled and hugged her back. "Do you really love brother that much?", Saruhiko teased. "Yes", Yui shyly said. "Yui...", Saruhiko tried to remove Yui's grip. "I know. I cannot exceed a sisterly love. Let me stop it right here. Let me start again. Let me go back to the starting line", Yui admitted. Still, my hands wont let go of Fushimi-san. "The Slate is already destroyed and Scepter 4 will serve as a military training ground. I'd be resigning and I'll be seeing you a lot", Saruhiko informed , ignoring what Yui just said earlier. Saruhiko gently pushed Yui away. "I'll be meeting someone, dont worry I'll be heading home", Saruhiko patted his head and went out the hospital. After sometime, Anna visited her. Yui's sitting at the bed and looking outside the window.

"Its good to see you", Anna'a voice returned Yui back to reality. "Anna, I'm glad you're fine. How have you been feeling?", Yui asked. "I felt lighter than before. Our powers are gone but the bond is still there. Kusanagi-san arranged a blog for us", Anna smiled and sat at the edge of the bed. "I met Saruhiko-san outside", Anna informed. "Anna, do you think we'll be fine. Brother, he already caught me. Being around him makes me feel weak and vulnerable", Yui sighed and covered her eyes with her hands. "You should be honest with yourself, Yui-san. Do you really like Saruhiko-san?", Anna asked. "I like him... More of it .. I think I love him", Yui answered. Anna gave Yui a slight punch in the face. "You're in a big trouble. I just want to remind you that you're the kind of person who doesnt want to disappoint people", Anna reminded. "But you still have the final say", she added. Anna's got a point and Yui decided not to protest. "Whatever you decisions will be, I will be here. In your ups and down, I'm here", Anna rest assured. "Stop acting like an old person Anna. You're just an elementary student", Yui laughed. "Thank you for dragging me back to reality", Yui smiled. Anna left the hospital and headed to HOMRA. Everyone is gathered since it will be their disbanding party. A man in winter clothes entered the bar. Their eyes were widened. "Am I not invited?", Saruhiko asked. "Saruhiko!!!!", Yata jumped at him and gave a smack on the back of his head. "Welcome back", they all greeted. The night was a time to enjoy every moment together. Everyone will have their own life after that night. Saruhiko sits at the couch with Yata. "What do you plan after this?", Saruhiko asked. "What... I... plan? I dont have a detailed plan as yours. I will be going with Kusanagi-san and Anna", Yata answered. "How about work?", Saruhiko asked. "As long as I have someone beside me, I will figure it out by myself. I will be staying here", Yata pouted. "Then, see you around", Saruhiko sipped through his cocktail. "How about you?", Yata returned the question. "Hmmm... Me... I guess I'll wait till the day I die", Saruhiko answered lazily. Yata released a bad aura ."Tsk... I will be taking over the company. The reason why I came here is also to offer you something", Saruhiko explained and whispered something.

"There's no I'll be able to do that!!!", Yata stood in great shock. "Think of how many times I helped you. Maybe its high time I ask for your help", Saruhiko said in a serious tone. Yata scratched the back of his head and agreed to Saruhiko's request.
