* Oh btw the picture is not Elizabeth but its the dress she is wearing. I  hope you like it  oh and there my be a couple of mistakes so please bare with me ok XD thx*

The sun was setting over Dressden Hills, which caused Thunder river to take on the colour of the sky, deep yellows and oranges, filled the water, hiding the blue. Shimmering in the dim light of the sunset. The sky was filled birds whom were migrating, seeking warmth for the cold harsh winter that will soon befall this city. I let a big sigh. How I wish I could become a bird, and soar high in the sky, with not a care in the world. Oh yea being a noble seems to be easy, but in reality I have it just as hard as the rest of the middle class people. Why is that I must be perfect?

" Elizabeth, It is time for us to get a move on. A lady must  never keep her guests waiting!" I heard my eldest brother, Edwin say in a mocking tone. I whirl around to find him leaning against the door frame, with his arms crossed and hair falling into his big crystal clear blue eyes, that was sparkling because of the annoyance he can clearly see upon my face. He had light brown hair which had natural highlights. A round shaped head like my younger sister Rosemary. Out of the three of us Edwin and Rosemary look a lot alike, while obviously the middle child must be left out. I don't really even look like my mother or father. There have been roamers going around that I may not even truly be a Von La Ruse.

" And you, you don't seem ready to go?" I shoot back feeling superior, even tho he clearing looks ready for us to leave.

" What are you talking about?" he asked caught of guard, Entering my room he pushes me out of the way and checks himself out in the mirror." Yea, unless you have lost your sight, I'm pretty sure I am.

I rake my mind to find a retort, but come up with nothing. I start to panic. If I don't think of something quick there is no way he would be quiet about this. My eyes wonder to him,  first looking at his face, then his body. He wore an all white suit with a red handkerchief in his suit jacket pocket, which I thought was nice. Then my eyes landed on his feet. A grin  had formed on my face.

" Are you sure about that Edwin, I mean even a complete fool would remember to put on proper footwear before leaving the house." now it was my turn to put a smirk upon my face.

His eyes become wide as Edwin looked down, and took in his bare feet. I laughed, really hard. I hadn't laughed that hard in ages. He smiled at me.

" There's the smile I'v been waiting for!" Edwin threw a genuine smile in my direction. That's Edwin for you, he always knows how to cheer me up. " I have noticed that you seemed really down today, whats wrong?" he asked looking concerned.

" Nothing!" I blurted out, looking down.

He didn't look to convinced "Ok" Edwin sighed as he walked out the door.

To be honest I'v been thinking of the dream I had last night.

" Goodnight" she replies softly as the lantern connects to my temple with such force, I let out an ear shattering scream and the last thing I heard before everything went black, was the soft thump of a body that had fallen onto the floor beside me.

I shivered, enough of that, tonight i must let myself forget of such a thing, and let my self have some fun. I quickly slipped on a blood red ball gown ,with black 4 inch high heels. My hair feel in perfect blond ringlets that framed my oval face very nicely. My once lush pink lips were tainted with a dark red lipstick.

" You look nice." I quickly turn around and find Edwin lying down on my bed as if it was his own.

" Goodness Edwin learn how to knock" I say infuriated

" Anyways" he says as he gets up from my bed and walks over towards me." The carriage is out front, we will be riding with Rosemary while, Father and Mother take their own."

"Oh..Alright then" I say dreading of what is to come.

Edwin grabs my hand, twirls me around, then pulls me into him.

" You look quite lovely" he whispers in my ear. A shiver ran down my spine. His blue eyes searching for mine. I look up and become lost in his eyes. We stand there for what seems like an eternity. I could feel his steady heart beat , beating in time with mine.

" Madame.. erm Elizabeth, it is time for you to take your leaving." I look up and spot William, standing in the door way looking very awkward. I push Edwin a way.

"Thank you William" I say as i march out of the room. What just happened, i couldn't get that warm feeling out of my head.

" You better be careful Edwin, for this could end up messy." I heard William warn Edwin as i walked out of the house towards the carriage.

Shortly after I enter the carriage Edwin does, then Rosemary. Our ride started with a jolt then of we go. The only thing you could hear was the sound of the wheels wooded wheels turn round and the breathing of all three of us.

"So" Edwin began " How long have you been dating Sebastian?"

" Um about a year now." I respond

" You love him?" he inquired again.

" Very much so." I respond again. Edwin's eyes harden.

I begin to stare at Rosemary whom was looking out the window. Her hair dark brown hair was pin straight and her bangs fell over her eyes. I wonder how she is able to see. She wore a deep green ball gown with long sleeves and a deep crew cut neck that showed her cleavage, Which brought out her big green eyes. Her full lips were glossed with a light pink. I was pretty jealous, but i had to admit she looked amazing.

                               Rosemary's POV

I feel as if someone I watching me, but I don't bother to check who it is.

" Your very beautiful Rose" I hear Elizabeth say earnestly.

I look in her perfect eyes, trying to hold back my tears, and muster a glare " Trust me, you would'nt want a face like mine." I say to her while I look at Edwin who only stares back at me in understanding in his eyes. I hate her. As soon as we arrive at the ballroom, I get out of the carriage and run towards the poker room. Who says it's un lady like to play poker. Ha I know i don't . Happy eighteenth birthday Elizabeth for this is your last day full of happiness.
