Castiel angrily left the secret chamber, with a heavy heart. How could this be true? He was the son of the most hated man of all the world. Castiel gritted his teeth as images of his now known father Lelouch Vi Britannia appeared before him. It was scary how similar the two were, even down to the way the two spoke to one another.  Their voices each filled with authority and wit it was almost uncanny. As long as Castiel could remember he always wanted to know who his father was. And he and his families origins, but now he wasn't too sure. Castiel wasn't too sure if could ever trust in his mother again. His mother Empress Lucia, the woman who held her in her warm embrace. And spoke to him with such tender words filled with love. Words that forged the man who truly loved his mother and the homeland she struggled to protect. A woman who smiled as lovingly towards Castiel it was hard to picture his mother.

Tainted and covered in rivers of blood. Blood of her enemies and his heinous father Lelouch. He was the demon and she was his demon queen. Something that Castiel struggled to comprehend as he once again took a swig of his wine. Hoping it would stun the confusion and pain in his heart. He didn't want to think about it,he didn't want to think of his mother in such a way. To be quite honest he only wished to dull his ever growing pain. As Castiel took another sip of his wine feeling his very senses becoming swayed, there was a soft knock on his door.

Castiel grunted before beckoning whoever it was to enter. And that was when he saw her. Her flawless skin, starless hair which cascaded down her sides to her lower back. And of course her eyes,a warm honey hue which was only accompanied by her smile. She was the one person in this world besides Castiel's mother that he could ever really trust. Someone that never had an ulterior motives, someone who only wished to comfort him. In his times of need. Quietly.the vision of beauty closed the door behind her,as she lowered her head and utter respect for the young prince. "I mean no disrespect, your highness."The woman breathed her voice as soft as silk as she spoken to him.

"You presence is welcomed Shizue."Castiel spoke her name rolling off his tongue with ease causing her to smile. "The honor is mine, your highness. "Shizue spoke as she made her way over to Castiel's side when beckoned her to his side. Shizue found herself in the arms of the prince once more. The one man she hoped would show such affection for her. The one thing she prayed to her Gods for. His love. "You are troubled."Shizue whispered to the quiet Castiel who's grip tightened around her waist. Almost as if he was pleading her not to leave.

"I am...confused."Castiel whispered his voice so soft and feeble it surprised young Shizue. Who since she was a child had yet to witness such a voice. Was this truly her Castiel? The man who's touch she constantly craved? The man who she had watched over and grown quite fond of? Was this another side of the Imperial Prince? "You've learned of your father?" Shizue asked as Castiel spat horrid words of his discovery. "I only found lies upon lies."He spat as Castiel his words alarming Shizue as the young prince bid her to look at him.

Shizue found herself carefully removing his eye patch allowing herself to gaze upon his lovely multi colored orbs that she had come to love for so many years. She was completely captivated by his gaze almost as if she were swimming within the very midst of his soul. "I want to rid this world of lies. You would never lie to me would you,Shizue?"He whispered as a strange symbol appeared in his right eye startling Shizue. Her body was no longer her own as the same symbol reflected in her own irises. "I could never lie to you."She whispered, words that were true and dear to her heart.  Lelouch was right he and his son had more in common than he realized. Far more.
