Castiel Ci Britannia stood quietly in his extravagant room, where lovely ivory hued pillars which seemed to keep the very ceiling itself up. The room was indeed very nice due to his status as a Royal Prince. But strangely enough having the best of everything did not interest Castiel. No what did interest him was politics. Since he was a child he would watch his mother. How she would lead the people of Fante and Britannia with a firm yet gentle fist. The way she governed and used her wits and sharp tongue to keep the fellow empires aflot was amazing. It was then that Castiel swore to prove his worth. He wished to help his mother govern the two most powerful empires. Castiel noticed how the stress of ruling had gotten to his mother. How she struggled to sleep at night. How her mind was always adrift to another place as if calculating her next move.

Honestly the young prince believed she was at her wits end. And he wanted to aid her. Castiel only wished for the best of his mother, which is why he disobeying his mother's will. Appointed himself as Lucia's Personal Guard. A Prince who was also a knight was an interesting thought and a rare sight indeed. But Castiel did not minded. To keep his mother safe from those who wished to harm her then he would strike them down without hesitation. That was simply the kind of man Castiel was.

Carefully Castiel dressed himself in a perfectly tailored snow white and black suit with intricate symbols embroided within the chest area and cuffs of the suit. A symbol that his mother was oh so familar with. And one she strangely enough made their family crest. The symbol of Geass. Power. The Power of a King. One that Lucia believed strongly would aid her and her family in their time of need. And a symbol that her son had no reason to suspect. Gazing into the mirror in front of him where his vibrant amber eye seemed to glimmer in the mirror.

His right eye on he inherited from his mother stood out abit. And honestly distracted those around him,and to stop this his aunt Cecilia. With eyes a similar hue to his own crafted an eye patch for him. One that was appeasing to the eye and allowed him to protect his mother, without further distraction. Carefully Castiel placed the eyepatch over his right eye,the eyepatch which too had the symbol of geass embedded within it. While attaching his black cape and his bejeweled gold and white black and scabbard at his hip,Castiel left his room. Making his way down the ivory hallways to the throne room.

And inside where 3 thrones awaited with the Geass symbol overhead sat his mother. Empress Lucia who's amber eyes seemed to come to life when she spotted her pride and joy. Her son. Happily Lucia arose to her feet dressed in a sheer and tight fitting white and black one strapped gown. With a lovely blade train which followed her every move. While on her head a plain tiara sat which surpsied many as to why she never bejeweled it like others. A true smile appeared on Lucia's lips as she found herself walking to her son.

"Cass!"Lucia called out happily as Castiel too was overjoyed to see his mother. She had been absent from the castle for quite some time on proper visits to her delegates. Castiel wrapped his arms around his mother's waist before effortlessly twirling her around causing her to smile. "It's so good to see you."Lucia said with a warm smile as she gently touched her son's face. Oh how her mere touch soothed him,as it always did when he was a child. He truly missed his mother more than he realized. "I missed you too mother."Castiel informed her before gently releasing his mother from his arms. He then lowered his head to the Empress, before gently kissing her hand out of respect. "You have grown yet I see no woman by your side." Lucia teased causing the young prince to roll his eyes.

It was his mother's usual teasing. She wanted him to marry for love and have a family of his own. It was almost as if that was her soul purpose in life. For her son to be happy. "Mother,I have met no woman." Castiel informed his mother as his aunt Cecilia made her way into the room. Wearing a short dark green and white sheer gown. "That is because he does not wish to seek a woman."Cecilia teased as Lucia too giggled at her words. Causing Castiel to blush at their words. "A-Aunt."Castiel mumbled shyly as the two women he loved more than anything took joy in watching his discomfort.

But he was use to it,after all they were very close. Sisters even. As Castiel so often heard the two refer to each other. "I just haven't found anyone of interest." Castiel informed which was indeed true he had seen many women. Countless women of high status yet none seemed to pique his interest. He believed no woman of high class would ever catch his eye. He wanted someone different, someone who was a rare flower that only he could pick. He sought a challenge. And his mother knew this.

"Ah,I forgot. Your uncle Suzaku will be paying us a visit tomorrow."Cecilia stated as Castiel's eyes lit up in happiness. Uncle Suzaku was like a father to Castiel. Teaching him to read and write. The politics of this world and of course how to weild a sword. After all Suzaku was the one who taught Castiel all he knew about war. And he wanted to learn more. "Then I will go to greet him."Castiel said as he bowed before the women before him as he took his leave.

Leaving Empress Lucia and her sister Cecilia or C2 by her side. "He looks just like him."C2 breathed as Lucia gripped onto her dress tightly as she tried her best to hide her discomfort. "I know."She whispered into the air.
