Castiel sat in his room, with his Uncle Suzaku in tow. The two men brainstormed on Castiel's approach to ending "The Order" once and for all. And unlike his father;Castiel vowed that he would never harm the innocent. Only those who deserved their punishment would receive it. And those being controlled by the "Geass Order" like the woman who had attacked him and his mother. Now Castiel knew what the woman had done was the ultimate form of treason in the land. He knew this all to well, but....there was just something about her. The way her azure orbs would bore into his own made him feel a great amount of pain. He could feel it oozing from her eyes. Unimaginable pain and suffering and most of all regret. Castiel felt,no he knew that she really did not want to be there.
The woman didn't want to attack his mother or him. It was almost as if she was compelled to do so. Castiel's mother was fine and so was he and that was all that mattered. Even his mother;Empress Lucia who would frequently have fits of pain that would randomly wrack her body. Yet even so his mother would defend her attacker. Believing if the attacker truly wished for her death that she would not be alive. And deep down Castiel knew this to be true. To be honest the woman did not seem to put up much of a fight until the soldiers were on their way.
If it wasn't for the soldiers,Castiel believed that most likely she would have given in. And allowed herself to be captured. But the fear of being tortured is most likely why she fled and felt like she had to use her geass in order to flee. Castiel sighed heavily at the thought of that woman, he wanted to see her again. Have a proper conversation with her,and most of all he wanted to save her. And Castiel believed ridding the world or "The Order" was the way to do it.
"You plan to succeed where your father didnt?"Suzaku asked casually as he took a seat next to Castiel's desk. The young prince bit his bottom lip, choosing his words wisely. "Yes,I believe I am far more capable than my father." Castiel stated as Suzaku shook his head at his nephew. It wasn't as if he didn't have faith in Castiel. But he was just a boy,and a beginner when it came to using his geass. In other words,Lelouch was cunning, goal oriented and had a powerful geass at his side. And Castiel did not. And Suzaku did not want to see him fail.
"Castiel-"Suzaku began as he too struggled to choose his words wisely. Hoping what he was about to say would not anger The young and promising prince. "You need to....improve in your current state 'The Order'will crush you." Suzaku pointed out as Castiel turned towards his uncle slash advisor with an questionable expression on his face. "Your comparing me to him. Aren't you?"He mumbled quietly to Suzaku who opened his mouth to speak but quickly silenced himself. Afraid any further words would just anger the young man.
"I'm not my father,Suzaku. I am my own person. And I intend to do great things in my own name. Not his."Castiel stated with a gentle smile,it was then that Suzaku realized one thing. The boy had grown. He was no longer a boy,but a man. And he would forge his own path just as his father had. In other words he would do his father and Lucia a great honor in suceed in where Lelouch had failed. "I understand,I will support you no matter what. Prince Castiel. "Suzaku said with a smile as he bowed to the prince out of respect.
Prince Castiel couldn't help but to smile proudly. Until a sudden surge of electricity ran through his body. The electric current traveled through his entire body down to his fingertips. Causing the prince to grip the side of his head. But not in pain but surprisingly in pleasure. He knew this feeling, there presence. Someone was here, someone he had been waiting to see. Her. She was here. But where? Noticing Castiel's sudden change in facial expression. He asked the young prince if he was alright. The young prince refused to answer as he struggled to compose himself.
These feelings were new to him and he wasn't too sure he would ever get use to it. But why? Why did he have these emotions when she was nearby? Was it because of their sudden psychic bond between them? Or was it just an attraction he had for a dangerous woman? Castiel did like a challenge when it came to women. He never liked the boring women of court. He wanted something more. Someone full of adventure, someone that would keep him on his toes. And he believed that was her. While Castiel continued to try to sort out his feelings for this woman. She had already entered the palace in desguise as a maid. Quickly she dressed in the black and white maid clothing. The young woman crept through the hallways. Bowing towards the other maids out of respect and the purpose to blend in.
The young woman noticed how happy the servants appeared in the palace and it confused her. Why we're they so happy to serve the Royal family? Weren't they slaves? Prisoners to the family? As the woman continued to roam the halls, she caught a glimpse of a handsome man. Dressed in a white and black trimmed suit with the symbol of geass embedded with the embroidery. The man was very good looking with only one eye visible and the other covered with an eye patch for some strange reason. The woman's breathe became caught in her throat as she noticed who this man was.
The woman struggled to find her voice,as she realized who she was staring at. It was her target, the crown prince and knight. The man she had clashed blades with and strangely enough fell for. Castiel Ci Britannia. Castiel almost sensing her eyes upon him turned to meet the woman's gaze. He couldn't help but to gasp at the sight of her. Leaving Suzaku's side,Castiel rushed over to the woman. Grabbing her by the hand and leading her away from prying eyes. He needed to talk to her,and he needed answers. Now.
