Castiel found himself falling into a never ending pit of darkness. It was so dark in fact he couldn't even see his hands infront of him. All he could feel was the constant and chilling wind whipping around him,and the firm and uncomfortable grip of the darkness which he was sure threatened to plague his mind along with Persephone. Persephone. She was down here somewhere. Alone. And scared. And Castiel had to find her,he would have to brave the darkness and bring Persephone from the brink of darkness. He absolutely could not allow her to fall. Not alone. And not without him. Just the thought of Persephone being alone was enough to make his heart ache. He had to find her,and now. Before it was too late. A few moments later Castiel soon planted his feet firmly on the black marble floor. He quietly peered around him taking in the new scenery. Where he was appeared to be an old and very dark castle.

With its black marble floors, crimson pillars and walls it was a very dreary place to be. Was Persephone truly here somewhere? Castiel's question was soon answered as a figure of a woman appeared before him. She seemed to not notice him as she opened door after door after door. Apparently she was looking for something. But what? "Excuse me!"Called out Castiel, catching the attention of the red head. She immediately turned to meet the gaze of a startled Castiel. Her eyes were s strange yet alluring emerald hue which gaze Castiel the chills. This woman was someone who couldn't be trusted. That he knew right off the back. The woman was very petite, maybe in her early 20's if not a little younger. Her firey red hair fell down to her lower back and wore a strange all black jumpsuit. What was with her get up anyway? The woman trained her dangerous gaze on Castiel before smiling wickedly towards him. "Now,however did you get in here?"She questioned before walking in slow circles around Castiel. Taking in his every attribute. "That doesn't concern you."Castiel stated flatly causing the woman to cackle ever so lightly. Her voice had an airy tone about it.

A tone that sent chills down Castiel's spine. Who was this woman? No. It was more of what was this woman? "Oh but it does if it has anything to do with the traitor Persephone."The firey haired woman commented, this struck a nerve in Castiel. She was a traitor? In truth Castiel had no idea what Persephone had given up to be by his side. Had she always had such a huge target on her back? Did she hide this from him so he wouldn't worry? "A traitor, what do you mean by that?"He asked the woman causing her to smirk.

He noticed her draw closer to him, casually touching his shoulders with an evident smirk on her face. She was trying to seduce him, that much Castiel knew. But she wasn't his type. Not in the slightest. "She betrayed 'The Order' and her fellow comrades. For you."The woman spat as she caressed Castiel's cheek causing him to cringe at her touch. "What is so special about you huh?"She asked in an almost irritated manner. Castiel brushed her hand from his face before glaring towards her. "Unlike you, there is a future with me. Without pain."He stated.

At his words the woman cackled before with inhuman speed and strength Castiel found himself being roughly grabbed by his throat and choke slammed into the floor. Castiel gasped in pain as the emerald eyed woman began to choke the very life out of him. But that's not what scared him. What did was how quickly her pupils changed to one's that bore geass. She was one of them. A Geass User. Just like Persephone. And just like him. Only she was so much more dangerous than he ever could be.

"Now you 'Fallen Prince, let see how you scream shall we."The woman whispered into his ear as she opened her mouth to speak once more. Giving Castiel an order that he wished he could deny but her power. Her geass so much more advanced than his own. And he had no way to combat it. "Die. And make it entertaining for me."She ordered as Castiel felt his entire body turn rigged. He opened his mouth to speak, but words seemed to escape him as be found himself taking hold of his sheathed rapier and pressing it against his neck. This was not how he envisioned his death.

He always envisioned himself dying in the line of duty as a fellow knight. But not old this. Not like a animal in a cage that he could never escape. Ever so slowly Castiel began to dig the blade into his flesh feeling his warm blood spill onto his thin blade. Yet no matter how much he tried to resist, the more the blade dug into his flesh. Castiel swallowed hard as he began to taste the dry metallic flavor of his blood in his mouth. He couldn't allow his life to end here and he wouldn't.

Struggling with his right hand Castiel tore the eye patch from his right eye. Bidding into open revealing it's alluring amber hue. "I-I am-"Castiel began as he struggled to force the blade from his neck, before tossing it to the ground with all his might. Shocking the red haired woman who took a few steps away. Unable to believe the fact that he was actually fighting against her power. "I am Castiel Ci Britannia! Son of Lucia Sai Fante-" Castiel began as the geass symbol belonging to the fire haired woman. She watched as the symbol dissolved into nothing and instead was replaced by Castiel's own geass which seemed to bore into hers.

"Son of Lelouch Vi Britannia. And I will not fall to the likes of you."Castiel began as the woman shielded her eyes from his gaze. Afraid he would take her mind if she faltered for even a moment. "Now leave."He ordered as the woman glared at him before making her leave. Choosing to rather fight another day instead of dying by the 'Cursed Prince'. But little did he know it was not over. One day she would return and have her revenge on not just him,but Persephone as well.

While wiping the thin trail of blood from his neck and retrieving his rapier. Castiel continued his journey down the long and never ending corridor before suddenly coming across the form of a small child. She appeared to be at least 6 years of age with short and unruly raven haired which framed her heart face. And her eyes,we're a lovely azure hue. One that Castiel felt he knew deep within his very soul. The small child wore tattered clothes and on her tiny body were millions of bruises which littered her body.

It saddened Castiel to look at her,to such an extent that he found himself wishing he could help the small girl. The little girl peered towards Castiel in utter awe. "W-who are you?"She asked Castiel who immediately covered his right eye hoping it would not scar the young girl. As he bent down to speak to the little girl at her eye level he immediately realized who she was. She was Persephone. His Persephone. Possibly she was the inner heart of her. Persephone's true personality. That of a defenseless child. A child he wanted to protect.

Noticing this Castiel extended his hand for Persephone's who hesitantly placed her small hand in his. And like the prince he was Castiel pressed his lips against the back of her hand. Causing the young Persephone's face to turn a bright red in utter shyness. "I am your Knight in Shining Armor." He answered the small child as she smiled happily at his words. "Then you've came to wake up the sleeping princess?"The young Persephone asked as Castiel nodded towards her as she gently tugged Castiel by the hand leading him down another hidden hallway.

Yet in the room they entered laying on a large canopy bed was his Persephone. Who appeared to be in a deep sleep from which she could not awaken from on her own.

"I found you."Castiel whispered as he rushed to the sleeping Persephone's side, gripping onto her hand. He then quietly peered towards the younger Persephone who smiled towards him. "Save us. Don't let us be all alone again."She begged,it was then that Castiel scooped the sleeping Persephone into his arms, kissing her forehead ever so gently all the while kissing the younger Persephone as well. This time on the cheek. Promising her he would remain at their side forever. The young Persephone smiled a true smile before watching as Castiel and his sleeping princess began to fade away from the world. Returning to their own. Leaving the young Persephone in the confines of her mind. But she was not scared.

No she had faith in her 'Prince' that be would save her. And deliver her from her past of pain and suffering. She only hoped that she would live to see the day. The day where all her dreams would finally come true.
