Unfazed and unaware of the chaos nipping at her heels,Persephone continued to concentrate. Using this unknown geass power of hers to surely save the man who her heart truly belongs to Castiel. Opening her eyes Persephone found herself falling face first into a dark and bottomless pit. Persephone gasped as she reached her hand up and through the darkness. Looking for something, anything to break her fall. But what was to come? Where would this endless pit lead her? Was this truly Castiel's inner world? His heart? His soul? Never had Persephone once thought that his world would be so chaos driven,so dark. Prince Castiel always seemed to be a ray of sunshine to her. Someone who's mere smile made her heart flutter. So why exactly was his heart filled with darkness? Was it because of her effect on his life? Was Persephone's appearance the reason Castiel's soul was swallowed in darkness?

Shaking her head free of these dark thoughts Persephone found herself landing with a loud thud on the ground. Her body sore due to the fall,as she struggled to her feet. Only then realizing that the ground itself was damp. Bringing her right hand in front of her face examining the liquid,Persephone realized what it was immediately. It was blood. Alarmed she scrambled to her feet, wiping the blood from her body as she called out for him desperately into the dark area. Unable to see anything around her whatsoever. It was strange how being here reminded Persephone of the cage her mother frequently kept her in. Punishing her and forcing her to live in her own filth, surrounded by nothing but cold darkness. A darkness that drove Persephone to embrace it. Believing she was nothing but a weapon. A tool for her mother.

But now things were different, thanks to Castiel accepting her. Showing her that there was indeed more to life than death. Persephone had freed herself from the darkness. And now it was her turn to return the favor. It was Persephone's turn to free him,her Prince from the darkness. A darkness she knew all too well was easy to succumb to. And darkness did the suit Castiel,Persephone knew that much. Carefully walking through the blood coated floor Persephone soon made her way into what appeared to be a throne room. Yet the closer she came to the throne, which appeared to be covered in blood. Fresh in fact as it slowly dripped down the sides. And thorns which threatened to make whatever tried to touch the throne bleed. But what did the blood and thorns symbolize? Did Castiel dread being a prince? Becoming the future king? Did he see it as a curse?

His own personal hell on earth? What was it? Holding her head slightly, feeling a headache form. Persephone continued to walk closer and closer to the throne. Her eyes immediately lighting up in utter joy as she spotted the figure of Castiel. Who stood in front of the thorn covered throne. Quickly Persephone ran towards her beloved, wrapping her arms around him. Gripping onto him tightly, whispering how happy she was to see him. She made promises. She promised shed make things right. She'd get him out of this hellish world.

She'd stop her mother with him by her side. With him Persephone knew the impossible was indeed possible. Yet Castiel remained silent, never once uttering a single word or returning her welcomed embrace. Confused Persephone peered up into her lovers eyes, immediately releasing a scream in fear. For what she saw was something truly terrible. Castiel stepped away from her his clothes soaked in his own blood. Staring at his own blood,Castiel peered towards Persephone. Glaring at her in pure rage, slowly he stepped towards her. Muttering words of disdain and anger.

"You did this to me." "If only i never met you,I wouldn't be like this!" "I hate you!" "Mother was right I should have killed you!" His hurtful words echoing in Persephone's mind, tears cascading down her cheeks. As she covered her ears hoping to tune out his words. He wouldn't say these things to her,she knew this. But that didn't make things any better. The look of anger in his eyes, and his blood covered body was what did it for Persephone. She knew that wound, she had done that to him. When her other self 'Ia' made her appearance she stabbed her lover with the deadly blade.

It's true it was not a fatal wound, but Persephone would never forget the look on his face. The look of confusion, shock, and utter sadness. She had betrayed him. And had the audacity to beg him not to hate her. How could he not hate her? All the pain and suffering she had caused him...Persephone believed she deserved this. Maybe this was divine retribution for her horrid deeds. Maybe she was meant to be swallowed in darkness along with Castiel? Maybe this how their romance was meant to end.

Surrendering herself to her fate,Persephone closed her eyes only to feel the cold hands of Castiel. As they wrapped around her neck, choking the very life from her. Yet Persephone didn't fight it,with tears in her eyes. If her death was by hus hands it was just, after all that is what she asked him to do before. If it came between her life and the world. Persephone begged Castiel to kill her. Of course at the time he rejected it but now here he was. Ending her. With a weak smile, and her vision starting to give out Persephone reached out to Castiel.

Gently caressing his right cheek, startling him. Causing him to cease his efforts. His hollow eyes Making contact with Persephone's who leaned close to his lips, kissing him one last time. Before her life ended. She wanted to show him, when wanted to show him how much she truly loved him. How even if her life ended the next moment, her life was truly complete. Because she was blessed to have him in her life. Even if it was only for a moment. Carefully Persephone pulled away from Castiel's lips expecting him to continue to end her, only to have him pull her into his chest.

Shocked at this Persephone peered up towards Castiel,to see tears cascading down his cheeks. "Persephone.....I-i" Prince Castiel began only to be silenced by Persephone who pressed her index finger to his lips. "You don't have to say anything. I'm here,to help you now."Persephone whispered before Castiel claimed her lips, kissing her with every once of passion he could muster. Persephone smiled as she felt her body giving off a warm glow which seemed to envelope Castiel and the area around them. 'Let's go home.' Persephone though to herself as the entire area was overcome by a blinding light. Leaving not a single trace of darkness in sight. And also nit a single trace of Castiel of Persephone as well.

But now was the time to return to the world driven into chaos. A world without a heaven, only hell. What was to come of this new world? Would the people suffer in this godless world? Or would these unsuspecting Saivors appear and rid the world of darkness?
