After hearing her "Mother's" request for revenge;Persephone or Ia. From her M2 called her, decided it was time to begin her mission. To end the reign of the "Immortal Queen" along with her "Halfling Son". Dressing in an elegant black and crimson embroidered gown,Ia left her room and found herself wandering the dim lit halls in the castle in the dead of night. She needed her first victim. She needed to appease her mother with the blood of her enemies. No matter who they blood belonged to. With the sound of her heels clicking behind her,Ia was soon greeted by the sight of the "Halfling Prince"himself. Castiel. Carefully Ia took in a shallow breathe as brief images of the young prince talking, laughing and holding Ia's weak self in his arms filled her mind. Why did her mother not take these memories from her? Why allow her weakened self to remain dormant within her? Why not eradicate her entirely?
On impulse Ia turned her gaze from the prince, hoping he would not notice her presence. But why? Did she not want to kill him now? Or ever? Was her other self still clinging to its false memories and wanted to stop Ia? Gritting her teeth Ia quickly left the area, maybe he didn't see her. Maybe she could get away before he ever noticed her? Maybe she could prey upon someone else instead. But not him. Not Castiel. Handsome Castiel who's warm gaze seemed to melt the depths of her heart. A man who continued to pull not only at her other self's heart strings but Ia's own.
With quick and shallow breaths Ia ran,she ran as fast as she could. Only to hear the voice of sweet Castiel who called out to her. Beckoning her to wait. Freezing at his voice,Ia swallowed the large lump in her throat before turning to meet the smoldering gaze of Castiel who smiled happily towards her. "Are you feeling better?"He questioned her all the while taking her shaken form into his strong arms. Ia remained frozen in his arms, her many thoughts plaguing her. Why? Why now? Why was she now showing hesitation to the enemy? To him?
"Yes,I do hope you forgive me." Ia whispered, making sure the prince did not gaze upon her eyes. Knowing it would give her away. It would reveal that she was not the Persephone he once knew. The woman he no doubt had fallen for. A stray tear cascaded down Ia's right cheek as Castiel asked what she meant by her words. But was silenced as Ia embraced her lovers one last time. She inhaled his sweet muck, loving his scent. His touch. Did she love him? Or was it her other self? Or did she truly love this man?
With her eyes closed Ia pressed her lips against Castiel's feeling his immediate response to her advances. She felt this, she loved him. But she knew even her love could not stop what was surely to come. "I....I did love you. And I will continue to love you. And that is why....I am sorry. Please forgive me. Castiel."Ia whispered before swiftly stabbing her lover in the abdomen with the special blade she always kept on her person. Castiel's face now contorted in pain yet his eyes held no ill intent towards her. Only love and sadness. No bitterness was evident in his eyes.
With blood pouring from the wound Castiel crumbled into Ia's arms. His eyes peering up towards his lover new violet eyes which seemed to startle him to no end. "P-Persephone...?"Castiel whispered in shock as Ia shook her head as tears continued to roll down her cheeks as rain. "No. I am not her. Not anymore."She breathed before tenderly touching Castiel's face, her tears landing on his own cheeks. She was in pain. He knew this. She did not wish to harm him. He knew this as well but why? Why did she betray him now? And why did she shed tears for the man she loved? The man she stabbed on orders of her mother. And she detested it.
"You swore you would never hate me,if I were to betray you. And now I am hoping you keep your word."Ia whispered before tenderly kissing Castiel's forehead. Whispering a few finals words to him before gently laying Castiel's bleeding form into the cold ground. Peering down towards him before turning from him. Tears evident in her eyes she ran. Making sure to make plenty of noise to draw attention to Castiel. Hoping he would soon be discovered soon. She did not want him to die. Not it was the exact opposite. She wanted him to end her mother.
End her horrible wish for death. And most of all end Ia. Anything and everything she was. With tears in her eyes Ia ran from the palace hearing the voices of the guards come after her. But they were soon more like soft murmurs as the sound of a loud woman's scream into the night air. "Cass! Cass!!!"Lucia screamed as she came upon the bleeding body of her son. She did this. Persephone. She must had. Empress Lucia should had known that Persephone would betray them. In anger she ordered the head of Persephone on a silver platter.
But unknown to her Persephone was already gone. And replaced by someone else, someone that held regret for what she had done. And utter sadness. Knowing there was no one else she could turn to but her mother. Ia fled. She fled from the castle and her old memories of happiness and returned to the clutches of her manipulating mother. Knowing she would continue to pull at her strings forever. And was she ready for that? To forever be her mother's puppet? Blinking away her tears Ia returned to "The Order". And with a confident grin M2 held her arms out for her.
With the tears dry on her cheeks,Ia walked into her mother's cold embrace. "You've done well,my obedient daughter."M2 said with a wicked wicked smile. Yet Ia remained silent in her mother's arms, wishing she could take it all back. All of the pain she had dished out. One day she knew she would have to pay for her sins. Ia only wished that it would happen soon.
