A few weeks have passed since Castiel Ci Britannia was introduced to the secrets of his family. Secrets that he would have rathered remain hidden within the shadows. But the truth was unkind to him. The thought of his mother;Lucia. Being a half immortal being unable to age,and overall was a blood thirsty demon like her husband. Her husband,Lelouch vi Britannia. And of course Castiel's father. Oh how he hated to call that horrible thing of a man his father. But from what Castiel could tell it was true. Lelouch was indeed his father,and that his past sins now we're a heavy burden on his shoulders. Castiel refused to become the demon his father once was. In fact it was the opposite. Castiel sought justice and a world without lies. And that was what scared his mother Lucia the most.

The way he spoke of truth mirrored Castiel's grandfather who had gone mad with power and even almost murdered Lucia to obtain his idea world. For the "Mad King " also sought a world without lies. Only the masks he allowed people to show were allowed in his world. It would have been a stagnant place one where ones wish would indeed come true. But at a heavy price for shackles would be placed on your very thoughts. That was something Lelouch could not allow and he stopped it with Lucia,C2 and Suzaku by his side. Lelouch had no regrets this Lucia knew.

But as a loving mother her concern for her son continued to grow by every moments. Castiel seemed very distant to her as of late. He remained in his room with a constant supply of wine at his disposal. And also by his side as of lately was Shizue. A maid who served under Castiel since he was a child. Lucia was always aware of Shizue's affection for Castiel but he had yet to return it. So what had suddenly changed? Something was amiss. With her concern constantly growing C2 was by her side,reassuring her that everything was alright.

But deep down Lucia knew something was wrong,and she had to find out what it was. And put her concerns to rest once and for all. Quickly Lucia made her way through the castles long cooridor, before stopping in front of Castiel's door. Hearing giggles and praise from the other side of the door. Not belonging to her son. Lucia immediately began knocking on the door,her blood pressure continuing to rise each moment. Soon after she heard footsteps and the giggling cease,Lucia was soon greeted by the appearence of her son. Castiel.

It had been so long since she laid eyes upon her son. And almost brought tears to her eyes. But something made her uncoming tears and made Lucia's voice tremble. "C-Castiel!"Lucia exclaimed at the sight. Her son,Castiel his eyes fully visible. And she saw startled her to no end.

In Castiel's right eye where he held his mother's beautiful amber eye. But in the already alarmingly lovely eye was the symbol Lucia could not believe. Geass. The Power of a King. How did Castiel come across this? Lucia knew that C2 would never form a contract with her son. Lucia was not too worried about it at all. But the question was who did this? Before Lucia could even speak she was roughly grabbed by Castiel and forced into the room. Where she found herself falling to her knees. Castiel quickly locked the door before making his way to his mother. Who couldn't help but to cower before him.

He looked too much like him. Like her darling who's mere presence at time was enough to make her heart skip a beat. His presence was intimidating,one that Lucia currently didn't want to be around. "C-Castiel please!"Lucia exclaimed as his mother silenced her cry. "I want the truth from mother."Castiel stated his eyes making direct contact with his mother. But what he received from his mother was no what he expected. Instead he saw the dangerous flame he always saw behind his mother's cool eyes flickered brightly. Before Lucia shook her head free of Castiel's pursuasion.

"Geass does not work on me,did C2 forget to tell you that?"Lucia asked, her calm expression appearing on her face. Castiel took a few steps back shocked that his new power of persuasion did not work on his mother. He wanted to know the truth,he wanted to know if all his mother's words were true. Lucia stared towards her son,with a dissapointed expression on her face. "If you wanted answers Cass. All you had to do was ask me."She whispered before quietly leaving the room. Where Castiel momentarily felt conflicted about his actions.
