They both sat there, gazing at each other with the moon held in their eyes. They got so lost, as they often do, that they forgot all about the close friend sitting opposite them. He didn't mind, of course. He just felt so much love and pride for them both, that he just watched silently, with a joyful smile. "I'm so happy you two finally ended up together," he spoke up. They turned to look at him, again aware of their surroundings. "But I have a question for you," he added. "When they say a woman will be a compliment to her husband, what does that mean to you?"

"OOO! I'll go first!" She lunged a the oppurtunity to express something of herself. "Before, I always thought it meant something that looked good together, and would flow easily. It works well together... Now, I realize that it stands as a constant compliment for it, like colors that compliment each other. It finds the beauty in it, and make it stand out more, shine like it truly deserves. We literally bring out the best in each other, and it is one of my greatest joys, to show everyone how wonderful he is, and give him the recognition he deserves."

"Awww... Thank you sweetie, that was beautiful; But for me, it feels a little bit different. My perspective, too, has changed, but in a different way. I used to believe that a woman served as a compliment, to show how well a man takes care of what is his. She served to show that he could take care of a family. Even though this is a wonderful compliment, I now realize, as I look into her eyes and think about all that she is, what this really means. This wonderful, amazing, gorgeous person has chosen me, loved me, and vowed to spend the rest of her life with me. Don't ask me why, because I have no idea, but that is the most privlaged, honored, and best compliment I could ever get."
