I woke up with Dan's arm locking my waist, and head resting on my shoulder. I blinked twice, to adjust my sight. 'Dan?' I asked, while poking his arm. 'Dan' I repeated louder. He grumbled, waking up sheepishly.
'Hmm?' He hummed, while trying not to sleep. 'We should go to school, and we better hurry up' I said while biting my inner cheek. He chuckled softly. 'Y/N, skipping a day of school won't do much harm' he stated. 'Besides, no one likes two periods of maths' he giggled. I finally gave in. 'Alright' I mumbled in defeat.
'Now can we get back to rest?' He asked. 'I don't feel like it' I snapped, 'Besides, do you have any spare shirts?' I asked him shyly. He groaned. 'Can I give it to you after a nice sleep?' He whined. 'Okay' I grumbled. I sat at the edge of the bed, while focusing on his face. He looked so calm and peaceful.
'Come here...' He opened his arms up, motioning me to snuggle. 'No Dan' I gritted my teeth aggressively. 'Okay, okay... I just wish I hadn't been so much of an ass to you in middle school, with all the name callings' he softly spoke, in a throaty voice.
I didn't reply to him, I just looked at him blankly- unable to know my mood towards him. Awkward silence filled the air. He broke it by saying, 'Come on Y/N, let's give you the spare clothes..' Glumly and shyly.
He pulled out a dull grey t-shirt for me. 'Here' he lent me. 'Than you' I whispered. It was slightly bigger than my size, and the sweet fragrance was on his shirt. I can't deny, the smell was pretty smell intoxicating.
From the brink of my eye, stood a stack of albums on his shelf. I couldn't help but go approach it. I looked down to see great selections of music, organized in different genres. It started off with A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, to Stand Up And Scream.
'You've found my albums' Dan spoke out. I jumped a bit. 'Yeah, gotta say, nice music taste' I laughed shyly. 'Thanks. I never found a girl who happens to enjoy some quality music' he smirked. The majority of girls in this class liked Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, while I like— different things.
'If you don't mind, can I shower here?' I asked. 'Sure, I'll just grab you a towel' he said, swiftly heading to his closet. He handed me a Mario-printed towel, and I glare at him playfully. A smile cracked up onto my lips. 'Mario? Really?' I grimaced.
'Just go get showered' he blushed. I guess I'll have to wear my worn-out jeans. I rinsed my skin with his Apple scented shower gel and dried myself off with his towel. I slipped on his shirt and ran out from the bathroom that was linked to his bedroom.
I creaked the door open, peaking at Dan. He was playing with his MacBook. I hovered over him, and sat on his bed besides him. 'What're you doing?' I asked him. 'Oh— nothing' he said, tilting his laptop away from my sight.
There was a mirror reflecting his screen. The boy was watching Supernatural. 'Y/N, do you want to go out with me?' He then asked out of the blue, I knitted my eyebrows together. 'Wait' I choked on air.
'No! Not like that! I mean- take a stroll around London while being accompanied by me' he explained. 'Oh' my voice dropped. I nodded my head. 'Sure' I answered firmly.

We went to the same restaurant, but this time, we ordered pancakes. I urged him into going to a book store, which we wasn't that happy about. It was challenging to try to get along with him, considering that I used to hate his guts— which I sort of still do. But it was an experiment for me to see if I could reconsider my feelings towards him.
I felt someone gripping on my wrist, causing my heart to beat in a rapid pace. There stood a man with a cocky smirk. 'Hey there, darling' he said, inching towards me. I tried to wriggle my hands away from his hold, but he was making sure I won't.
'Hey!' I hissed, 'Don't touch me!'
'I can do whatever I want' he glared. 'And I'm down to get down on you' he chuckled, rubbing my thighs. I felt a few eyes drawn me, but then they looked back to the book shelves. Soon, the guy was slammed harshly against a shelf full of Sci-Fi books.
'Oi! You're a pathetic excuse for a human. The way you can't get girls so you push yourself on an uninterested one disgusts me. You people are a cancer to society' Dan thundered, making the man gulp.
'Hey you two' the librarian narrowed her eyes at Dan and I. 'I won't let any form of violence take place here! Now leave' the librarian scolded, gesturing us to leave.
'Well, sorry for not being able to get the book that you've wanted' he said in a low voice. 'It's okay, Dan' I tried to brush it off. 'And thanks for saving my ass back there' I chuckled, a bit anxiously.
