Chapter 19

"You give me something to think about, that's not the shit in my head"

With the crude pranks and harsh remarks I get from Alina, it's obvious to say I've grown tired and slightly distraught.

The end of the school year approached towards me faster than I expected, and my bond between Louise, Tyler and Shane grew stronger by each day. The best part is, Dan and I had no troubles between us.

Dan pecked my cheek as he slipped his hands into mines. I sighed nonchalantly until I creaked my locker room open, revealing a substance leaking out from my locker. I scoffed loudly, as I looked over at Dan, who growled lowly.

'Okay, what the hell is that? And why is it in your locker?' Dan huffed angrily. I narrowed my eyes as I leaned down to point my firmer at it, examining it. As soon as my finger dipped into the unknown liquid, I instantly shrieked in agony.

Dan panicked as he rushed into the nurse's room. Her face softened as she looked at me. 'Nurse Bailey, her fingers are burning!' Dan pointed out, impatiently.

Nurse made sure that the burn on my finger was treated well, so she rubbed ointment on my burnt skin and wrapped a bandage around my fingers. I sighed deeply, as I frowned. Dan softly pressed his lips against mines reassuringly.

'How did this happen? Your skin must've reacted with some hazardous chemical' Nurse Bailey said, concern in her voice. 'I don't know, somebody added some weird substance in my locker and when I touched it, my fingers began burning' I claimed.

'I'll inform the principal' Nurse Bailey stated, anger in her voice, 'Kids these days and their stupid pranks' she said under her breath.

Soon, I was sent to the principal's office. 'Miss Y/L/N, please take a seat' Principal Meyers motioned. From the corner of my eye, stood Alina with her eyes glossy and crimson.

Principal Meyers sighed in defeat as she went through papers. 'Miss Y/L/N, the substance was in your locker was hydrochloric acid blended with water; which is hazardous and is a threat to the human body' she said, her voice laced with rage.

'And we found that a bottle of hydrochloric acid was stolen from the science room, and was found in Miss Ferreira's locker. Also, we captured a footage of Miss Ferreira placing the mixture of water and the acid into your locker'

'Miss Ferreira, your deed violates against or school rules, and your act is a serious offense. With this punishable act, I have decided that Orion High will no longer be accepting you into this place.'

Once I placed a foot outside the office, Dan, Shane, Louise and Tyler shot their head up from the floor. 'What happened?' Shane asked, curiously. 'Alina's well... Expelled' I said, causing people to cheer— except for Dan.

'Dan, what's wrong?' Tyler frowned. Then, Dan forced a smile onto his face. 'Nothing, I'm fine' he chuckled nervously. 'I'm alright' he assured. I looked at him oddly.

Louise, Shane and Tyler left, and there was only Dan and I outside the car park. 'You don't look happy Dan. I know you' I said sternly.

'You're right, I'm anything but that' he admitted.

Then, pain was brought to my chest. 'You love her, don't you?'

I wasn't surprised one bit, she was the full package. In fact, she has the same traits that the old Dan I knew had. 'It's not that, I promise!' He exclaimed.

'Before she came to London and changed into this person, we were such good friends and she was so lovely. Seeing people like that changing— to just hard to handle'

I just nodded my head, lost in thoughts. 'Stay with me tonight?' I asked.

'I'll stay with you, princess' with that, he messed with my hair, causing me to squirm. 'I love you' he muttered is a raspy voice, 'I'll see you in your bedroom at six, beautiful'

WARNING: I HAVE SINNED

There I stood, with my body planted on top of the bed. The thought of Dan paced back and forth my mind, and it drove me insane. Soon, I heard faint footsteps that only belonged to Dan. I shot my body up in excitement.

I ran up to Dan, greeting him with a rough kiss. Soon, his hands roamed around my waist while my heart ignited with passion. His hands lowered, to grip on the hem of my shirt. Dan soon pinned me onto my bed, while his kisses became sloppy.

Soon, his lips travelled down my neck, causing butterflies to erupt inside my body.

'Are you ready?' Dan asked, being really cautious. 'I don't want you doing something you don't want to do, love' he said. 'Dan, I'm fine' I assured. 'I'm ready' I promised. He gave me a smile. Our kiss lingered for a long time, and— things happened.

I panted, feeling Dan's heartbeat pressed against my ear. He entwined our fingers together, and I blushed. 'Why are you blushing?' Dan asked, clearly curious.

'Because of you' I giggled, earning myself a peck on the cheek from Dan.

'Me?' He laughed, 'How come?' He asked.

'I don't know' I said shyly and softly. 'You're cute, princess' he gave me another kiss on the cheek. I rested my head on Dan's chest, while his arms snaked around my waist. 'I love you, princess' he whispered against my ears.

I focused on the rhythm of his heartbeats and fell asleep next to him.

With my hands free from the cast, and my fingers still aching from the chemical burn, I fell asleep next to him, feeling nothing but love.
