Hux

*Kylo Rens pov

Knock knock knock.

Rey opens her door.

"Ready?" I ask her.

She nods. She's wearing a black tee shirt an leggings which is similar to mine. Black tee and sweats.

I begin walking to the gym with her following me. Although I try, I just can't keep the limp out to my step. I silently thank her for not mentioning it although I'm sure she did.

When we enter to gym, she gasps in surprise at how big it is. I head strait over to the tread mills.

She stands on one and I begin to show her how it works. When I'm done she nods, starts it up and begins to run.

I get on the one next to her and start it. I have to go a lot slower that usual because of my injuries. I think one of those troopers might have broken a rib.

I run for maybe five minutes before I have to stop it and double over, breathing hard.

"Are you okay?" she asks. It's the first time I've herd her talk all morning.

I nod, my face contorting with pain.

She stops her treadmill and walks over to me. "Do they have a doctor here?"

"Not one that would help me."

"Why's that?"

"Snoke forbids it. Oh well, I can handle it." I look up at her and smile. 

She just gives me a sad look and gets back to running. I sit on a bench off to the side for the rest of the time.

After about an hour, I stop her. "We'll go back and get changed. Shower if you need to but I'll have a trooper be picking you up in an hour for lunch.

"Alright" she says panting.

*Reys pov

He dropped me off and went into his own room. I heard his door open and close.

Taking his advice, I showered and got changed into a new outfit similar to to one I had this morning.

To Kylo's word, exactly one hour later, a trooper was knocking on my door calling me to lunch.

I follow to trooper to the cafeteria and look around to see if I can find Kylo anywhere. He's sitting in the corner of the room by himself mask off. I walk over.

He smiles when he sees me and gestures to the seat opposite him. He's already loaded up two trays and was picking at his when I sat down.

"Today's lunch is a buritto." he smiles as I pick up the fork.

"I don't think I've ever had one," I say poking the tubular food in front of me.

"Well," he said "it has refried beans and cheese in it. They're actually quite good."

I cut of a small piece and eat it.

"It's amazing!" I said shoving another piece in my mouth.

He laughs and takes another bite of his own.

The food here was amazing! The burrito and the weird green leaves mixed with fruit which he called a salad.I didn't know you could eat leaves.

When we are done, he grabs mine and his trays and takes them over a a convaer belt and then comes back, limping all the way. Stares follow him.

He sits back down ignoring them. "So, Rey, what do you want to learn today?"

I think about it and am about answer when General Hux takes a seat next to Kylo.

"I see your little apprentice liked the food." he said and when Kylo didn't answer he turned to me "How's training going?"

"Really quite well," I say enthusiasticly "I'm learning so much."

Hux laughs "You got a good one, Ren." He stands up using Kylo's shoulder to push himself up. I see Kylo's hands tighten into fists and him clench his jaw in pain.

Hux must have saw this because he laughs and pats him harder on the back. Kylo's eyes slam shut and his breathing quickens.

"Don't do that, Hux." I say, mad "You're hurting him. Haven't you done enough already?"

He raises his eyebrows at me "Compassionate and feisty. Supreme Leader is going to interested in this bit of news." he turns to Kylo. "Is it possible that you've gained feelings for her? Supreme Leader Snoke certainly thinks so."

I see Kylo swallow hard eyes still tight shut. "Don't you have anything better to do, Hux, other than keep me and my apprentice from training?"

"You're right I should get back to my job." Hux's fingers dig into Kylo's shoulder and Kylo lets out a small gasp of pain. Hux laughs. "Good to meet you, Rey." And walks away.

"Alright." Kylo says after Hux walked away, grabbing his helmet and standing up. "Let's head back to the training room we were in yesterday so we can test what you already know with the force."
