*Kylo Ren's pov

My eyes fly open. Were was I? Then the memory of the passed day crashes down on me.

My eyes wander around the room I'm in. It was white. There was some monitors next to the bed I was in that was monitoring my hart stability and a camera in the corner watching me.

My black robes had been replaced with sweats and a tee shirt and my hair had been washed and brushed. The bed I was in had soft white blankets and pillows.

I attempted to sit up but immediately regretted it. A sharp, burning pain in my stomach flared and I dropped back down hissing in pain.

"Ben!" the door flew open and Rey ran in and wrapped her arms around me. I gasped in pain. She lessened her grip around me "Sorry, we've just been so worried about you! Don't ever do that again!" that's when she did the most unbelievable thing possible. Something that defied my wildest dreams. She kissed me. And I kissed her back.

When she finally pulled away, my gaze went to the unnoticed until this point, second person in the room. "Mom." I said, tears spilling onto my cheeks.

She pulled me into a hug. "Oh my boy." cried into my hair. "My beautiful, beautiful boy has returned home!"

I hugged her tighter, ignoring the pain in my ribs and stomach.

When I finally pulled away, Rey speaks.

"Ready to go to breakfast?"

"Well," I say "Seeing that I can barley sit up for a minute, I don't think that I'm quite ready for that big of a jump."

She smiles sympatheticly "Well, doc said to take you, so it doesn't really give you a choice."

"Don't worry!" Mom says, she must have seen the horror on my face. "We have a wheel chair!"

"Ok." I say. "Let's get this over with."

It took them five minutes to get me in the chair. I was howling the entire way.

Once in, Mom laid a blanket over my lap and gave Rey a pain killer to give to me while I was eating lunch.

Outside the room, Mom went one way and me and Rey went the other.

"Where are we eating?" I ask between clenched teeth.

"The cafeteria. You can sit by me!"

"Who's all going to be in there?" I ask, dreading the answer.

"I don't know. Hard to tell, but probably everyone. Don't worry, Ben."

"I'm worrying."

She just sighs.
