*Rey's pov
I'm awakened in the dead of the night by the call of the sirens.
Hurriedly and trying to stay calm as I pull on combat clothing, attach my new lightsaber to my belt and move to find General Leia and Luke and to find out what the heck is going on.
Outside my door, people are running up and down the halls with packages, blankets and guns in a panic. I join the crowd and am somehow able to navigate the chaos and get to the command center.
"General," I say running up to Leia, ducking under icy dust falling from the celing. "what the hay is happening?"
She looks at me sadly and I know the answer before she can say it. "Oh."
"The First Order. Their ships were just spotted on radar only a couple minutes ago. Fourteen tie fighters and a bigger one as well. Were aren't quite sure what type because we can only see it on radar, but it's sure larger than the rest."
The ice bunker shakes and a few icicles fall from the ceiling causing groups of people to dive out of the way to avoid being impaled.
Luke runs up from behind me still in pajamas. He's been training me to become a jedi for the last year and somehow I'd been able to convince him to come back to the Resistance with me to be reunited with his sister.
"Leia!" he shouts over the sound of the First Order now right above our snow bunker. "We have to get out of here! Rey, you've gotta run! It's you he wants!"
"Who?"
He looks at me. "Please don't tell me that a year of training is going down the drain at this minute. We'll meet you on Naboo. Leia, we have to go!"
"I know, I know." she mumbled, still feverishly typing on her computer. "Just let me-"
I run out of the room to fast to here the rest of her words, and close the ice door behind me concealing the door to appear as just part of the wall.
I felt him. He was coming. Why hadn't I been able to sense it until this minute Luke mentioned it?
There was people still running everywhere, the intensity building.
I sprint do the hall to the hanger, jump into a x-wing and take off into the black sky of chaos.
