Chapter 25

At the end of the school day I ran outside to the bus port waiting for my bus to show up.

"Ash?" I heard a voice say behind me.

I turned around, it was Liam.

"Yes?"

"Can we talk?"

"About?"

"Us,"

"Go ahead,"

"I'm ready to straighten things out. With me and you and with me and Lindsey. I'm going to tell the truth, but I need to tell you tonight,"

"I don-,"

"Please,"

Lindsey came over to us. Ruining things of course.

"Ashley," she said, rolling her eyes.

"ASH! YOU COMING?" Niall yelled from his car.

"I better get going. I'll catch you later I guess,"

I spotted Isaiah and walked over to him.

"You riding home with Niall?" I asked him.

"No. I got to go to a friend's house today for a project, I'll see you later though. And tell your mom!"

"Alright,"

I walked over to Niall's car and hopped in.

"Is Isaiah coming?" He asked.

"Nope, he's got a project to do,"

"Well, how about we go to the movies. I was talking to Carly and Sarah today, I'm sure they'll wanna go,"

"I uh kinda have something to do today,"

"Ash! Please!" his smile slowly turned into a frown.

I wanted to say yes, but then there was Liam.

"I guess it can wait till tomorrow,"

"It can! Well text Carly and Sarah and tell them to meet us at the movies,"

"Okay! What movie are we going to see?"

"World War Z!"

"Ugh.. Action films. Do you know when it starts?"

"I looked it up, I think 5:35,"

"Alright!" I said as I pulled out my phone.

I texted Carly,

"Hey! Do you and Sarah wanna go to the movies with me and Niall?"

"Sure, what time?"

"5:35,"

"What movie?"

"World War Z,"

"Alright! We're on our way,"

Then I texted my mom,

"Mommy! Isaiah had to go to a friend's house tonight for a project and I'm going to the movies with Niall, Sarah, and Carly. Love you!"

She didn't reply, but she'd get it soon.

We met up with Sarah and Carly at the movies and bought our tickets. We headed into our theater and sat down close to the screen.

"I head this movie's good," Niall whispered to me.

"I did too,"

The lights in the room dimmed and we sat back and enjoyed the movie.
