Spectreville- Lost In Time

Chapter 14

"Are you bonkers! We don't even know how to use this thing!" Yelled Sandy pointing at the Emit.

"I programmed it, I have an idea. Plus Josh is a physics expert as well. If we work together, we're just as smart as Gail." Said Tara, calmly. "So who's in?" She asked putting her hand infront of her.

Chris put his hand on hers before everyone, followed by Josh and Gabbie. That's when everyone looked at Sandy

"Oh alright! Only for Rocky." She said as she put her hand in with everyone else.

They realised that the lab had a secret entrance from the backyard so they left the house with sad faces and then entered from the back entrance.

After an hour of hard work they managed to get the Emit working. All of them cramped into the tiny machine and pressed the button.

The entire place when white and then an almost wooden colour. They stepped out of the Emit to see Rocky and a really pretty girl hiding under respective beds.

"Rocky!" Screamed Gabbie as she ran over and gave her brother a hug.

"Gabbie you shouldn't have come here." He replied. He did miss his sister but he knew it wasn't safe for her.

"Why shouldn't we be here?" Asked Sandy just so happy to see Rocky's okay.

"Well, or Tempus is gonna take you away Sandy." Replied Marylou.

"You know me?" Asked Sandy

"I'm Marylou, and I know all of you."

"And so do I", I said from the back. I can be quiet sneaky at times.

Rocky and Marylou bowed down and all the rest could do was stare at my scary red eyes (okay I wasn't mad but I wanted to think I was).

"Follow me intruders. You shall leave my prisoners alone at once!" I said in my scary voice.

They just followed me as I floated on my chair. I haven't sat down in about a million years and it felt good.

They followed me into my treadmill room where I stopped my chair and stood up. I made my eyes go back to normal and cleared my throat to return back to my melodious voice.

"Well we haven't met properly. I'm Tempus." I said as nice as I could.

"Wait weren't you all angry a couple of minutes ago?" Asked Chris

"That was just to shut you up and get you to follow me." I said as I snapped my fingers and chairs formed behind each on of them. "Do sit." I said.

"Thank you Ms. Tempus." Said Gabbie rather awkward.

"Okay where's Gail?" Asked Josh

"How nice you asked" I said as I snapped my fingers again showing Gail in a glass case.

She had come here earlier so I made her unconscious. I can't change the world in the STC but since she came right to me she was nothing but a puppet in my hands.

"What did you do to her?" Said Gabbie so shocked she stood up.

"She's fine, her conscious is awake but not her. Her mind is in my personal library." I said

"You put her in a coma!" Exclaimed Tara.

"Right you are Tara dear. Now listen up every one."

Every one sat down in their chairs rather scared of me. It's a good thing, I wanted to be feared.

"I knew you were to come and that is why I'm not mad. After 30 years this task has come back to life again. Make a potion vitae within 24 hours and take back Gail and Rocky safe and sound or else loose both forever. Rocky will be alive but I'll kill Gail."

All of their eyes widened. They didn't think of me to be that cruel, sadly I was. (Don't judge, watching people's boring lives while running on a treadmill is boring. Even time needs entertainment!)

"Are you telling the truth?" Asked Gabbie not wanting to loose Rocky and Gail, she had grown to like Gail.

"Time doesn't lie. Now your 48 hours start...now!" I said as I snapped my fingers and a gigantic hourglass came up. (Totes cliché, I know! I like cliché okay!)

"Okay. We accept, now can you send us back.... Please?" Asked Sandy politely.

I snapped my fingers and the portal opened up and everyone jumped in. Man am I evil or what!

After a while of falling they fell in their school gymnasium gymnastics cushion so it wasn't that painful.

"What time is it?" Asked Gabbie

"Can we please not talk about time now!" Exclaimed Chris but everyone ignored.

"7pm, Thursday. We have till Saturday evening for making the potion or whatever it is." Said Tara.

"Let's go to Will and the ghosts. They might know something." Said Josh

"Good idea baby. Let's go." Said Gabbie as everyone ran to room 666

But they were in bad luck. Ms. Hollander was in her office doing some extra work when she heard running in the hallways.

"The Troublemaker!!" She whispered as she took her torchlight and pepper spray (in case it was a robber).

They quickly ran down the basement stairs unaware that someone was following, but just as Chris heard the click clack sound of someone's high heels.

"Shhhh. Guys! Get in the tunnels now!' He whispered

"Why?" Asked Tara then hearing the click clack moving closer.

"Hollander!" Whispered Josh as all of them moved into the tunnels.

That's when the door opened. Ms. Hollander dresses in an H&M pantsuit walked in looking way too young for her age.

"Oh well Georgia, must be that creepy janitor again. I must tell him to not stay back anymore."

"Yo who out dawg!!" Yelled Will.

Oh no! Hollander will find out! Thought Tara

"It's just me William! It's Georgia."

"Please don't tell me you're here for answers again!" Yelled Arty

"Oh yes. Now that you've reminded me. Ghosts of my school! I command you to tell me who is the Troublemaker?!" She said like she was talking to some oracle

"We no yo servants bitch! The Troublemaker ma daag! My nigga!"

"He's an amazing person and we will not hand him in." Said Dr. Nelson Fennel (He was a military doctor)

"So he's a boy. That's all I need!" She said as she shut the door.

The kids did wait until the noise of her heels was distant before they could come out.

"Will! Arty! Nel! Hollander knows about you!" Asked Tara

"Yeah, that's why she wanted us locked up. She doesn't want us to help bad kids who want to 'ruin' her or any other student." Said Arty using quotes for ruin.

"Yeah like how she's secretly in love with Mr. Andrews." Said Nel

"And haw that bitch Jessica use them hair colour for them bitch blonde hair!" Said Will

Everyone was just shocked. How could the ghosts trust them so much.

"Why did you tell us?" Asked Tara

"Cuz we know u be trusted!"

"That's really nice of you to say Will. Now on to business..." Said Sandy
