"What is wrong, my lady?" Lady Daena Stormblood was thinking in the bathwater as her servant, Selene, helped scrub her as clean as could be.
"Nothing," she replied. I'm only about to marry one of the most important men in Westeros and most of what I know is from stories. Not good stories, mind that. Lady Daena had been betrothed to Jaime Lannister, the beautiful twin better known as Kingslayer. There were tales of him and his sister Cersei, the Queen Regent of Westeros, having much more of a relationship than siblings should have. And there were other tales as well, tales from long ago that gave him the name Kingslayer. But those tales were no rumors, they were true beyond a doubt.
So Lady Daena was scared. But she was also intrigued by the man she had only met twice before. Not everything can be learned from stories, as she was sure she would soon find out. She stepped out of the bathwater that had grown cold as she thought and walked towards the dress that lay on her bed. It was a beautiful dress, in light blue and rich purple, the colors of her house. Soon they will be crimson and gold. Then she dried herself off and let Selene help button it onto her. It was almost time for her wedding.

Ser Jaime Lannister was just stepping out of the bath when his sister, the beautiful Queen Cersei, stepped into his room. He made to cover himself up when she said,"don't make yourself look a fool trying to do that, brother. I have seen you like this many times before." She took a step closer. "I know you don't want it to be the last time."
"Sweet sister, I don't know what you mean. And I think it is you who hopes the most that it won't be the last time." She stepped closer, close enough that he could feel her breath on his neck. I wish I could kiss her right now, why must she always try to do this to me? He felt her hand moving downwards and grabbed it before it could reach its target. "I am about to be married to somebody else, sister, you have lost your chance."
Cersei's emerald eyes flashed angrily. "Don't act as though I ever had one; I was married to that sot and you to that white cloak before any such thing could happen. And now that you can finally marry, you choose some girl not worth a cent of the gold under Casterly Rock!"
"Sweet sister, you know I would marry you if I could; you're the one who won't let it happen, saying it will undermine our childrens' claim. Don't act like the whole of King's Landing doesn't know they're mine and not Robert's!"
She slapped him, leaving a mark on his cheek. "Well just know, brother, that girl will not be welcome by me, and you know what happens when I don't like people here." And with that, she stormed out, slamming the door behind her.
"Goodbye, sweet sister," Jaime said towards the door. And he turned to get dressed. It was almost time for his wedding.
