Jaime found Daena as she was walking through the halls. He came up behind her and covered her eyes with his hands.
She gasped and tried to turn around.
"Ah ah ah," he said,"that's cheating."
She laughed, pulling his hands away from her face. "Hello, Kingslayer." She turned and kissed him softly on the lips.
"And what did I do to deserve that?" he asked, eyes twinkling with silent laughter.
"Just exist," she replied.
He raised his eyebrow at that answer, looking like his twin. "What makes you so happy today? What have you been up to?"
"I don't have a right to just be happy, Kingslayer?" she arched her eyebrow, mocking him. "But in response to your question, I was just looking for Margaery today, but Petyr found me and apologized for what he did; he asked for a second chance."
"You said no?"
"I said yes, Jaime. Everyone deserves a second chance; I gave you one, or don't you recall?" Her mouth tightened.
"He's not to be trusted, Daena! I don't want you to be near him."
Daena's gaze hardened into a glare. "You don't want me to be near him? And do you think I wanted you to go fuck your sister?" Her voice started out soft, rising to a shout by the end. Jaime was speechless. Her voice dropped to a whisper again, as she said,"Goodbye, Kingslayer, if you need me I'll be with Petyr. Maybe you should go find your sister, I'm sure she'd love that."
And this time, the nickname did hurt him, as he watched her stalk away.

After they all left, Cersei had gotten to thinking. And when Cersei got to thinking, there were often consequences for others. She smiled to herself, and walked to her chambers. She pulled a servant to her, nearly laughing at the undisguised fear in her eyes, and said,"Please bring Ser Jaime to me. I need a word with him."
--------------------
Jaime was still standing petrified in the same spot when the servant found him. "Ser Jaime," she said. "Her Grace, Queen Cersei wishes to speak to you."
"Why should I speak to her?" He spat the her like a curse.
The servant girl trembled. "I'm sorry, Ser, I don't know. I was only commanded to bring you to her."
He took pity on her and followed her to Cersei's room, dreading it all the while.
--------------------
Daena walked through the halls in a blind rage. All she could think was How dare he? She nearly fell down the stairs three times, and once, she ran into a wall. She only stopped when she collided with a person. It was a servant girl, rushing away from wherever she had been. "Oh, my lady, I'm so sorry!"
"It's alright, I should've calmed myself down," Daena said. "But what are you doing in such a hurry?"
The girl blushed. "I was just trying to get away from Her Grace and her brother. They scare me sometimes, those two."
Daena nearly gasped. "Yes, they can be frightening sometimes," she said, trying to seem calm. When the girl was gone, the smile went out of her face. So he went to her after all, did he? She grimaced.
--------------------
"Your Grace required my presence?" Jaime said as he stepped into Cersei's chambers.
"I did," she said, a lazy smile on her face, but her flashing eyes betrayed her excitement. Jaime could tell that whatever was causing that excitement couldn't be good.
"Why have you called me here?"
Why, dear brother, don't you know? If I can't have you, nobody can. "Now is that any way to speak to your queen? Anyway, I called you here to tell you of your duty that has come up. You are to go to the Riverlands and end the fighting." Her lazy smile broke into a grin as his face hardened into a glare. She knew that he knew what had caused this unexpected duty. Come on, Jaime. Try to fight against it. Let me hear you roar.
"Yes, Your Grace. I hope you don't miss me too much. Oh wait, I hope you do actually. I hope you miss me so much that you fall out a window." And with that, he turned and stalked away.
