Daena kept on walking without Lord Baelish and saw Jaime up ahead. She crept up behind him and put her hands over his eyes.

Jaime's first instinct was to attack the person, but he held himself back for a moment. He heard a fake deep voice say,"Well, Kingslayer, who would think to find you here?" He let out a chuckle and spun around, catching Daena's wrists in his hand and pushing her against the wall. He pressed her hands above her.

"Thought you could trick me, hmmm? Well, Daena Lannister, you should know that us Lannisters aren't tricked easily. I think I'll have to tickle you now."

"No, Jaime, no! You know I can't handle that!"

"Well, I can't use my hand, I suppose I'll have to find another way." He moved his face toward her neck and blew on it softly.

She laughed. "Stop Jaime, I won't try to trick you again."

"Well I guess this works." He grinned. Both were oblivious to the pair of green eyes watching them from around the corner. Jaime blew on her neck again. Then he licked it.

"Ew, Jaime! You don't know what's been done to this neck!"

"I believe I do," he replied with an arched eyebrow and a suggestive smile. She blushed. "Do you know what else I believe, my lady? I love you."

She began to blush even more. "I believe I love you too, Kingslayer." They kissed, her hands still pressed against the wall above her head. They broke off when they heard a sound and turned towards the corner. All they saw was long golden hair swishing around the corner.

Jaime sighed. "I'd better go deal with that." Daena nodded and he followed after Cersei.

--------------------

Jaime caught Cersei before she could get very far. He placed a hand on her shoulder, not allowing her to walk any further. While his left hand was useless for fighting, it was still very strong, and he wouldn't budge as she tried in vain to get away. "Cersei," he said quietly.

She finally turned around. Jaime was surprised that he saw hurt in her eyes, hidden behind the anger. But she quickly pushed it away. "What is it, Kingslayer," she sneered. "Don't you have enough with that little whore of yours?"

He raised his hand to slap her and she cringed away, but he could not bring himself to do it. He couldn't stoop to that level. Robert's level. That fat slob had hurt his sister in places he'd thought Jaime would never see, and Jaime had sworn to kill him for it, but in the end Cersei had taken that privilege away from him. He hung his head. "Cersei, I don't know what you're so angry about."

Her eyes flashed, green as wildfire. "It was bad enough that you married that girl, and now you're telling her you love her and kissing her in the hallway? She is not the one for you!"

"And who is? You? I asked you to marry me time and again and you always refused. Always! If you cared about me at all, you wouldn't do this to me Cersei."

"I wish we could marry Jaime, but you know that's not an option! We are not Targaryens!"

"Well I wish we were. I'm sorry Cersei. I would never wish to hurt you. But this is how it has to be." He kissed her fingertips softly, looking into her eyes, eyes full of pain that he knew was reflected in his, and then left her standing there.

--------------------

Daena remained in the hallway, looking lost. She felt a presence behind her and turned around. "Lord Baelish!"

"I told you, my lady, call me Petyr, please."

"Okay...Petyr."

"I just wanted to ask you, would you meet me in the courtyard the day after tomorrow?"

"Okay, see you then."

"I look forward to it, my lady."
