Jaime slammed the door open, ignoring the startled guards to either side. He barely took the time to slam it closed before stalking into Cersei's bedchamber. She is sitting there with her back to him, holding a little box in her hands. Once he would have rushed to her, kissed her, held her until the sun was rising in the sky. Not anymore.
She turned to him. "Jaime," she gasped. "You're back?" She's startled by the hatred in his eyes, unsure of what to do around Jaime for once in her life.
"Did you do it?" he says simply, but his voice is dripping with venom.
"What?" she asks, bewildered.
"You know what," he says, but she says nothing, looking confused. He continues. "I just arrived back to find Baelish trying to rape my wife."
Cersei gasped. "Oh Jaime I swear I didn't tell him to do such a thing. I haven't spoken to him outside of a council meeting since I told him to stop what I'd asked him to do. I'll admit that before I told him to get her to...have him...but certainly never in that way and I told him to not fulfill my orders anyway. I swear it Jaime, by the Seven I swear it."
Jaime may have missed a lot of things, but he knew when Cersei was sincerely telling the truth. He was silent for a moment before suddenly bursting into tears. "What if I'd been a minute later?"
Cersei's eyes widened before she wrapped her arms around him. She couldn't remember the last time she'd seen Jaime cry. It was always her. He really does love her, she thought as she cupped his cheek in her hand, kissing the tears from his face. She placed one final kiss on his lips.
"Go to her."

Brienne and Daena looked up from the bed as Jaime walked in. Jaime smiled when he saw her face, much happier than he had last seen it. He walked over and kissed her on the forehead, pushing her hair back with his thumb. "You look better."
She grinned. "Brienne said she'll give me sword lessons!"
Jaime stepped back, laughing. "Did she now? Well look at that, you've won over old Brienne. I didn't think it could be done. You'll have to show me your tricks." He grinned as Brienne blushed, rolling her eyes.
"Mmm," Daena said, pulling him closer,"I'll have plenty of time to show you my tricks now that you're back." She smirked at him. Her face softened as she continued. "And I have something to tell you."
Jaime's grin faded into concern at the change in her voice. "What is it, Daena?"
She hesitated a moment before rushing into it. "We're going to have a child!" She smiled softly at him.
He sat in shock for a moment before lifting her up, spinning her around, and kissing her full on the lips, leaving her with a blush redder than Brienne's. "That's amazing Daena!"
Brienne slipped softly away, leaving the couple to their happiness.
