After Daena took some control of herself, she changed the direction of her steps to lead towards Margaery's chambers. She figured that was where she must be if she hadn't found her yet. Besides, there was no way she was going back to her own chambers right then. Jaime could be there!

When Daena arrived, she was pleased to find that her suspicions were correct. "Margaery," she cried,"I've been looking for you everywhere," rushing to hug her and burying her face in Margaery's shoulder.

"Daena," Margaery gasped,"what's happened? Are you alright? Come in here."

Daena followed meekly behind her and collapsed into sobs as soon as she was seated. "Oh Margaery, what did I do to deserve this?"

"Daena, what's happened?" She knelt in front of her, clasping her hands."Has someone hurt you? Has someone..." She broke off.

Daena's eyes widened slightly. "No, not that. But Jaime..." She broke into fresh tears.

"What did he do to you? If he laid a hand on you I swear I'll have Loras kill him," Margaery said, her eyes flashing.

"No, nothing like that, it's just," she paused, steeling herself. "I talked to Petyr today." Margaery visibly tensed at the name. "He asked for a second chance and I said I would give him one. Everyone deserves a second chance, Margaery right? Right?" Her voice rose in pitch on the second right as though she were trying to convince herself. Margaery gave a nod to calm her down, though she was doubting it herself. "Then I saw Jaime, and I told him, and he got so angry! He said 'I don't want you near him.' So I said," she murmured something.

"What did you say, Daena?" Margaery said quietly.

"I said...'Do you think I wanted you to go fuck your sister?'" Margaery gasped. "And then I told him I would be with Petyr if he needed me and he should go find his sister. But I didn't think he actually would." A tear rolled down her cheek.

"What do you mean?"

"I ran into a servant in the halls before I came here. She said she was trying to get away from the two of them."

"I'm so sorry Daena."

Ser Jaime Lannister was in a bad mood. His wife was angry with him and his sister had just sent him away as revenge for something that wasn't even his fault. He could practically hear her thoughts. If I can't have you, no one can. He sneered. That's just like her. Such a greedy lioness. Nobody can have anything if she can't. Sounds almost like Aerys with our mom. He was always going on about her, to bother me no doubt. He huffed and stalked off toward his and Daena's room to pack. Maybe she'll be there. I don't know if that would be good or bad. When he arrived, the room was empty. Perhaps that's for the best. I'll have to find her, though. I can't just leave.

After packing what little he needed, he went to find her. Where could she be? He walked slowly. Ah, maybe with the little queen. He picked up his step and made his way to Margaery's chambers, knocking on the door when he arrived. It opened a crack, revealing Margaery's face, and little else.

When she saw him, her sweet smile transformed into a glare. "You aren't welcome here, Ser."

It was enough for Jaime to know Daena was there. "Please, my lady," she raised her eyebrow and he bit his lip, as that reminded him of Cersei."Your Grace," he corrected himself,"I must speak with her."

Margaery stepped out, closing the door protectively behind her. "Anything you want to say can go through me."

Jaime frowned. He knew this was all he was going to get. "Alright," he sighed,"please tell her that I'm sorry I couldn't tell her myself, but Cersei has ordered me to go end the fighting in the Riverlands." Margaery sucked in her breath. "And tell her I may be away for awhile."

"Anything else?" Margaery asked pointedly.

"Tell her I'm sorry. And tell her... I love her."

"Alright, Kingslayer," Margaery nodded in approval."I'll tell her."

Jaime thanked her and walked away sadly. He had left the city within an hour.

Margaery returned to Daena. "Who was that?" Daena asked.

Margaery sighed. "Ser Jaime. He gave me a message for you."

"I don't want to hear it."

"I really think you should," Margaery replied quietly. After a moment's hesitation, Daena gave an almost imperceptible nod. "He said Her Grace has sent him to end the fighting in the Riverlands. And he said he's sorry, and that he loves you."

Daena looked away, mouth tensing. "He says that to her too."
