Shiori pov:

I stared at nothing in particular as we walked through, or rather Ulquiorra walked this darkness. I found it awkward having to start a conversation with him because of that totally indifferent look on his face. I was fine with the silence though so I patiently waited for us to arrive at our destination.

We finally walked out of the black space and into a huge building with dark somber walls. The ceilings of this place were very high, possible even higher than the ceilings constructed in orchestra theatres. There were big windows every now and then and all I could see through them was endless white sands and a dark sky. There were no stars either. This place was very different from the human world....no vegetation, no buildings and an endless dreary feeling.

Ulquiorra carried me through a set of huge doors and my concentration finally came to the thirty odd powerful reiatsus I could sense in this huge hall. I looked around in the darkness, seeing silhouettes of people who were most definitely Arrancar. There were three people whose reiatsus seemed like shinigami reiatsus. Two of them stood pretty close to where Ulquiorra stopped with me still in his arms but the third which seemed the strongest of the lot was on a platform almost twenty feet above the floor we stood on.

In fact, the reiatsu made me nauseous. It was too powerful....dominating over all of these people here put together.

"Ara, it looks like Ulquiorra had ta p'rsuade the pr'ncess to come along." I looked to the side seeing a man with lavender hair. He wore black hakamas and a black haori like a shinigami and had a white coat over it. It wasn't like the white coat I had seen Byakuya san or Toshiro wear as captains. It was fully white with a collar and held together at his waist. He was watching me with a mocking smile. His eyes were closed, so I couldn't tell what his eye color was.

I frowned slightly, not very amused by the teasing tone of his voice. And why did he call me princess?

"Um....I didn't actually resist...." I mumbled out feeling a little awkward because I was still being held up my Ulquiorra. "Could you let me down?" I glance at him, my brow twitching. He didn't say anything as I took his shoulder for support when he let me stand on my own. He immediately walked away from me and went to stand with the other Arrancar around me.

I winced before balancing myself and putting all of my weight on my left leg. I sighed pulling my side bag on my shoulder before looking up at the person sitting on top of the platform. I had to shield my eyes a little when the whole hall suddenly lit up. I saw different people around me and I immediately pinpointed the three shinigamis here among the Arrancar. The guy with the lavender hair, another person standing a few feet from him with dark hair and the person sitting on the platform in front.

All three of them wore similar outfits – the shinigami haori and hakamas with a white coat over it.

The man who was sitting on the platform on a huge stone chair, had wavy brown hair pushed backwards with one strand of hair hanging in front of his face. His matching brown eyes were sharp making my stomach do a summersault as he watched me with a piercing gaze. He was smiling and looked absolutely calm. I tightened my fists on the strap of my bag not able to tear my gaze away from his.

"Welcome to Las Noches. I am Aizen Sousuke." His voice was a deep baritone. I clenched my jaw under the pressure rising around me. I was extremely aware of my situation. I was standing on the tip of a sharp blade; one small mistake and I could be cut right through or fall into the pits of darkness.

"You have no reason to be afraid. Don't look so uncomfortable." His voice echoed through the huge hall. He sounded amused and it made me a little annoyed. But its true I was kind of anxious of my situation but it would have been better if I didn't have so many onlookers. I glanced around at all the Arrancar around me. Some watched me passively, some glaring, some snickering and others uninterested. I took a deep breath before looking back at the person above.
