12. Snape's gone Purple

Megan POV

I woke up earlier than I usually did and I usually woke up pretty damn early. My nose was still really sore.

I got up and got changed into my uniform. I walked down the stairs, my movements were languid as I was still half asleep.

"Woah, what happened to your face?!" gasped Fred.

I looked up and saw the twins were sitting talking to their friend Lee Jordan, well they had been. Now all three of them were staring at me.

"I tripped over and face planted it. Oh, and if any one asks I fell over sleep walking, okay."

"Why would anyone ask?"

"No reason."

"Huh, that doesn't make any sense."

I walked out the portrait hole and made my way to the hospital wing. Once I arrived I was fully awake.

I pushed open the door and walked in. To my relief no one else was inside except for Madame Pomfrey.

"Hello," I sighed.

"Hello, oh, what happened dear?"

"I sleepwalk sometimes and I tripped over on the stairs or at least I think I did. I woke up lying on the floor my nose bleeding like crazy." I lied smoothly. This was going to be a habit, I was sure of it.

"Come here I'll have you fixed up in a jiffy. I think it's just a broken nose."

A few minutes later I walked back out the door blood free and with no broken bones.

I started walking down to breakfast, starving after last nights adventure.

"Hey," I heard someone say.

I looked around to find the speaker.

"Up here."

I looked up and saw Peeves floating upside down.

"Hello Peeves."

"Are you still going to help me?"

"Umm, well I said I would help you if you didn't give us away. You did give us away."

"That kid tried to hit me, besides you didn't get caught did you."

"Well I guess, oh alright, I'll help you."

"Promise?"

"Promise."

"Yippee! Come on let's go, then."

"What now?!"

"Yeah. I have got a great plan. Follow me."

I groaned. I really wanted to go to breakfast, but a promise was a promise. I followed Peeves down a couple of corridors until he came to a halt facing one of the paintings that adorned the walls.

"Open it," he ordered.

"What the painting?"

I looked at it more closely. It was a painting of a beautiful forest. Willow trees stood tall and proud, ferns covered the ground and mushrooms grew all over the place.

A unicorn was frolicking around in a clearing chasing a group of glittering fairies. There were fairies everywhere. Up the trees, floating amongst the ferns, sitting on the mushrooms and just zooming around in the air watching the unicorn. Some of the fairies even climbed on the unicorns back and began riding him like a horse.

"Yes I want you to open the painting, it's really not that hard."

"Well, what's the password," I said, rolling my eyes.
