Percy's pov

I yawned as I dragged myself out of bed, thinking of how long it's been since I've had a morning swim. This is greatly needed. I thought to myself. Pulling on my swim trunks, I walked out the door not even bothering with a shirt. It's 5 in the morning. Who else would be up at this time?
I walked slowly toward the lake but not before stopping and staring at the Hades cabin. I thought about Nico. He's hardly at camp and when he is, he doesn't come out of his cabin. I wonder why that is.
I decided to continue walking, letting my mind run free. Eventually I reached the dock, surprised to see a dark figure sitting there. And that's when I heard it. The soft sobs, barely audible. As I got closer, I recognized the figure to be very familiar to me, for I had only seen him a thousand times. I recognized the aviator jacket and the black mess of hair. Yes, I knew the figure well but what I didn't know was why he was here. The sound of his crying broke my heart.
He was so wrapped up in his thoughts he didn't hear me approach. "Nico?" I said. The son of Hades jumped and quickly turned around. That's when i saw his face. It was red and tear stroked. The younger demigod looked exhausted and frail. His eyes worn in with deep purple rings. He wasn't much more than skin and bones and I couldn't help but wonder if he'd been eating or even sleeping. "Percy.." he said before collapsing to the ground from exhaustion. I quickly ran to him and scooped him up in my arms surprised and scared at how light he was. I rushed him to the infirmary, not knowing what else to do. Halfway through the way there, Nico started wriggling around a little. By the time we got there he was full out shaking. An Apollo kid led me to a bed, in which I laid him down. He started thrashing around and screaming, tears running down his face.
I didn't know what else to do and the girl needed him to be still so I laid beside him, holding him tight. Telling him it was going to be okay, that it was just a dream. To be honest with you, seeing him like this scared me and when the Apollo kid told me I had to leave, I was very hesitant. However, I understood. I got up to leave when I felt a hand tug my sleeve. I turned around to find a very confused Nico, fear in his eyes. "Please stay" he asked, his voice wavering. I was surprised, but I sat down in the chair as he fell asleep again. I stuck my tongue out at the Apollo girl. I wasn't going anywhere.

Yayyy! Chapter two is finished! I added a little bit of fluff there. I never thought I'd be writing fanfiction although i love reading it. I've never really been much of a writer. But i was sick of the horrible Percico endings. One of them die in like almost every one i read. At least this way i can control it. Okay. Rant over. Sorry guys XD
