Chapter 4: What did you do?

Percy's pov

Nico had been out for five days. Five whole days. Jason and I sat by his side the entire time. He kept muttering things in his sleep but he said them in Italian so I couldn't understand. Getting lost in your thoughts is easy to do. Getting pulled out of them? Not so much. So when a painful scream yanked me out, I had no idea what to do. I looked down at Nico thrashing around in the infirmary bed. "Leave me alone!" he yelled. He continued to scream. Leo, piper, and annabeth ran in a couple minutes later, clearly woken up by the loud racket. I looked at them, worry in my eyes. "What do I do?" I was panicking now. I climbed on the bed and straddled him holding his arms down. Jason and Leo grabbed his legs but not before Nico got a good kick in Jason's face. No matter what we did, he wouldn't stop screaming. Piper even tried charm speaking, but it had no affect. Annabeth walked over slowly. I had forgotten she was even there. She gently played with his hair while I whispered to him. "It's alright. It's okay Nico. It's just a dream. You're safe. Shhhh. It's okay Neeks. It's okay." He let out one more heart shattering scream before calming down and slipping back into a peaceful sleep. We all sighed in relief. We were about to go sit down when shadows started swirling around the room. They came from every direction. Suddenly the whole room was enveloped in darkness. I shut my eyes tightly. When I opened them again I looked around to find a still sleeping Nico, my friends, and tons of monsters.
Oh Nico. I whispered in my head.
What did you just do?

A/n: So I know it's a short chapter but i don't usually have time to write more than that and I haven't slept In like a week so it's bedtime. Goodnight my peeps. That's what you'll be until i think of something better. My little peeps.
