Chapter 7: Help?

Nico's pov

After that incident with Annabeth, I stormed out of the dining pavilion. I know what you're thinking. She was 'looking out' for me. Don't be such an ass Nico. Don't do this. Don't do that. They care Nico. Well guess what, maybe I don't need them to care. Maybe I don't need them at all. I don't need watched after like a five year old just because I had a rough week. I can handle this by myself. But you don't have to, a voice said in my head. But I need to, I replied.
A lot of you probably think I'm some asshole for this. Yes. I'm an asshole. Get over it. I ran over towards the dock and sat down, feet hovering above the water. Just like that day that he found me. I looked at the beautiful water and had the sudden desire to jump in.
I can't swim but oh gods did I want it. I wanted to feel the water on my skin, even though it reminded me of him. I wanted to breathe in the sent of the sea, even though it reminded me of him. I wanted to learn how to swim just to do a whole bunch of things that reminded me of him. Oh Gods. What's wrong with me. I heard footsteps behind me but I just sat there. I wasn't in the mood for another one of Annabeth's lectures. As she sat down beside me, I refused to look at her. I just kept staring at the sea. I sat like that for awhile before finally looking over at her, only to find that that 'her' was a 'him' and happened to be none other than Percy Jackson. Well. You know what they say. Speak of the devil and he shall appear. Or in this case, think of him. I jumped at the sight of him. He chuckled. "Did I scare you?" he asked. I glared at him which only turned his chuckle into a laugh. Finally I spoke, "What's so funny?"
"You" he said. Suddenly a look of what, to anyone else, would appear to be pure joy. But to me his eyes spelled mischief. He jumped up suddenly and picked me up. Throwing me into the water and jumping in after me.

Good morning my blue fishiez. Sorry it's a late update. I was going through some stuff and didn't have much time to write. But it's all good now. Sorry it's a short chapter. They usually are. But there's not much plot developed yet and I'm New to this so I'm writing what comes to my head. Hope you have an excellent day fishiez. I might change what I call you guys . I like this but I might change it. What do you guys think of being my blue gold fish stealers? No? Kayy. See you for the next update.
