chp31:Happy Birthday El!

Kathy's *POV*

After all the drugs i was feeling better, thanks to Harry and Amber. I know everyone was concerned for me specially Harry as he kept checking on me every five minutes. We were heading home and we invited Amber and Kyle too.The little was smart and funny as her Aunt.

"So guys what are we having for dinner?" Niall said from behind the wheels.

"We can stop for a takeaway" Liam suggested.

"Sounds great!" Kiara and Kyle echoed.

"I dont feel like eating" i said resting my head on Harry's shoulder. I was squeezed between Zayn and Harry,followed by El.

"You have to take some medicines..so i advise you have something before that." Amber said from behind.

"Dont worry i'l take care of that!" Harry said looking at me with that green sparkling eyes. I didnt reply instead closed my eyes and enjoyed Niall and Kiara's food fight because they couldnt decide one. Niall wanted Nandos and Kiara insisted on Mexican. They were so cute...like two polar ends fighting against gravity. I was happy to see how Kiara was happy with Niall...her eyes gleamed with love unlike the days with Marcus when i saw only fear.

We all were sitting in El's dinning room.As for the food no-one can win over Niall for Namdos but being a gentlemen he ordered Mexican food too.

I stuck on salad and soup because my body couldnt take much and I knew Harry wont let me go without it.

I filled my spoon with the apricot pie but couldnt swallow it down.

"You okay?" Zayn who was sitting opposite me exclaimed loud. Before i could answer all eyes were on me looking curiously as if i was gonna pass out at that very moment.

"Oh..um..mothing..i am good..i..."before i could complete all turned around to Lily's furious cry.

"I am done..I will go and get her!" I said pushing back El to her chair.

Lily was cranky mostly because her sleep was disturbed from her wet nappy! I quickly changed into a fresh one and paced around the room cuddling her in my arms.

Alone again the beach memories came rushing blocking my mind from peace.I closed my eyes to breathe some fresh but when i opened my eyes to the knock on the door my jaw dropped to the floor.

Mark was leaning at the foor frame with that goofy grin lingering on his purple lips.

"Hey beautiful!" He said coming towards me. I froze back in my place as Lily's soft snor filled the room.He kissed Lily's forehead followed by my me.

"Why are you here?" i whispered trying to puff air out my lungs.

"I am here for you!" he said kissing the tip of my nose. I stood there gripping on Lily for some warmth.

"You nearly drowned yourself today..so i just came to check if you are all right?"

"I am all good and healthy...you can go now!" i said angrily because whenever i talk to him like this it makes me feel like some pschopath retard talking to ghost.

"I am not ghost!'' he said reading my thoughts.

"But you are not Mark too"i replied as sharp as i could and walked out of the room still carrying Lily in my hip.

"Eleanour if you dont mind...can i take Lily with me for the night?" i asked walking in the living room where all were sitting in a circle.

"Ya sure!" El said glancing at mr for a while. I winked her a "Thankyou" and said goodbye to all as i left to reach home across the fence. I didnt want to stay alone tonight . I knew Mark would haunt me the whole night and i couldnt ask El everynow and then nor can i bother Harry whenever i feel i am going mad. So instead i took Lily with me because she will keep me busy and a good listening company too.
