chp37:Just Lust??

Kathy's *POV*

I reached home smiling like a fool and humming throughout. Harry was in the interview but his text's were continous and i really enjoyed this-free notorious flirting. The way his glorious dimples make me want to kiss him so badly and play around with his curls as his eyes freely checked me out like i'm the only girl on this planet. I know this was stupid but i was too happy to let this feeling slip. His touch was still fresh on my skin and his lips still savoured on mine. I wondered this would be the day, there on the B&B's wooden floor and i could surrender myself to him but even though my body responded to his this feeling never left me and it punched me hard in the gut. He still dont all about me, he dont know that what i did! I did a bad thing and the shame and guilt of it was too much to live with. I didnt have any right to be happy...I know my heart waa slipping away again but my conscious wont let me live. I have to tell him soon before i loose myself again.

I was trying to find my door keys when i saw the light across the kitchen and heard Lily crying. So instead i crossed the fence and headed back to El's place.

"Heya why is our boobear crying?"

"I dont know...she's not hungry, nor wet and her tempreature is also normal!" El said as she tried to calm Lily.

"Here..lemme see if she wanna play with me and till then you can go for a long hot bubble bath!".

I could see Lily had her busy all morning and she was yet in her night wear with messy hair and tired mind.

"Ah! Sounds great..thankyou so much, I wonder what i'l do without you!" She said and climbed upstairs as i tried to hush the little girl. She didnt want to sleep in her cot nor watch telly so i simply rocked her in my arms but she was still uneasy.

It took me time but i finally found the reason. It was her stomach. Not exactly constipation but the pain children get when they start new on solids. I've read about all this alot and i was sure. I checked the signs pressing my thumb against her abdomen and moving it left to right and yes she squealed in pain as my finger crossed towards the right. I quickly got the antibiotic from the medicine kit and spooned her some of that brown liquid. She was quiet now and drifted after to sleep soon after.

"Where is Lily?" El asked as she came down still wrapped in her bathrobe.

"Well, She is sound asleep!"

"Really?"

"Yeah really!" i said pouring two cups of freshly brewed strong coffee.

"Hmm...i'm not in her favourite list i guess!"

"And why do you say so?" I chuckled.

"Nothing just ignore me sometimes."

"Well for your information she had bad stomach ache..." I saw that panic expression on El's face as she jumped of the kitchen stool.El had done her nursing training and practised quiet well but she seemed too distracted to notice this, whereas my book knowledge was just random.

"Dont worry..i gave her the tonic!" i said proudly.

"Ghooosh! how could i miss that! Any how did you come to know about this?"

"Um..ah..i read it somewhere and i know some generall stuff about peds!" I said trying to make a joke.

"Oh! You know what?"

"No i dont know what El!''

"Well! Today she said DADDY...."

"OMG wooooah...you recorded it right?"

"Ya ofcourse i did! But lou was so happy and busy in dancing i dont know who looks more adorable!''

"I am sure he must be delighted!"
