chp5: Hope and faith

Harry's *POV*

As we entered the waiting area i saw Louis sitting on a chair cuddling a baby and a girl was resting her head on his shoulder who was fast asleep...But as i asked lou whats wrong i think the girl blinked her eyes and when she opened it she ran towards me and i was like "i think i saw her in the reunion but um...do i know her?"..but then when she was two steps away ....kathy moved forward and CLASH!..um...i mean hug!..And the as they were hugging i saw the tears rolling down from both girl's faces and there was kinda relief seeing each other as if the relief when you feel seeing your dear one's saved from the tsunami...then finally kathy spoke

"El what happened and why are these stiches on lily's forehead?"

I was looking at lou for some explaination but he was busy with the baby who was probably lily i suppose ...so i felt its better if i hear to what this girl had to say....

When she finally finished saw more tears rolling down kathy's face but this time the other girl El was stronger..

Um...oooh..this was the same girl who caught lou's eye and lou was trying to get her attention and i think he suceeded pretty well because here he was standing cuddling her baby like his own child...But i was wondering where her actual father was but i ignored the question for the time and went to lou who was singing a lullabaly to the baby who was trying to sleep in his arms.

Then i saw a lady in white coat approaching .."Miss Calder we are ready for the test."..she said and lou walked passed me and took El's hand and followed the lady doc....my eyes met kathy's as i took the seat beside her.

I could see the dried tears on her cheeks and i felt like holding her but i thought it was better to keep the distance but as our shoulders touched i felt a vibration and then i realized it was kathy who was vibrating again..

So finally i took her hand in mine but she didnt look at me.."everything will get fine dont worry!"..as i said this she looked me into the eyes and shit...the tears which were getting dry started to flow again but this time she got hold of herself faster and started to stare the floor again

"El was always there for me in my bad times and today when she needed me i was Nowhere...!"

"kathy its okay..you dont need to feel guilty ...look at the brighter side lily is safe and i know the test's will be great too!"..i said squeezing her hand more tighter.

"um ..kathh... but where is lily's father?"..

"El is a single mother..Alex walkedout when he came to know about the pregnancy because he was a coward douchebag!"...as she finished..all i could say was sorry and after that we both sat there in silence waiting for lou and El to come out.

After almost two hours lou and El walked out of the white room but the baby was not with them....

"Guys i think you'l should go home and freshen up and take some rest because

the doc is telling to keep lily under observation for twenty four hours!"...lou said sounding calm but as much as i knew him i know he was scared too but he was acting strong.

"No...i'm not going home..i wil stay with El...you guys carry on!"..kathy said all of sudden ....but i.knew lou would not leave....So i tried.."kathy i think louis is right...you can come tomorrow morning and stay with lily so El can go and have some rest till the time"

"Kathy i think its right you go home for now because i need some fresh clothes and lily's things"..this time as El spoke kathy nodded...and hugged her saying goodbye..."El i'm keeping the car here for you. .you can need it anytime...please dont say no!"..kathy pleaded.
