Demon Seed Prologue/Chapter 1

Well folks!  here it is.  My first story submitted on Wattpad.  I'm excited, but very nervous.  Please be kind with your comments.  Remember, constructive criticism is much more useful than just being a jerk.  lol  I appreciate any votes, comments and/or improvements.  I'm just starting out with this and have been trying to find the courage to write and submit it.  Thanks again for reading.  Enjoy!!

Demon Seed

Prologue

Here in this dark place I cannot feel anything.  I lust.  I desire to be whole again.  I try to remember the feelings of movement, of feeling whole, but to no avail.  My soul beckons for wholeness.  I was put in this place to protect mankind, but in all righteousness, I am put here to prevent my desires and needs to be realized.  Father, you think you have stopped me, but in reality, you have made my desire even more hungry and your defeat more imminent.

            The ground moves, the hole where he was placed is moved ever closer to freedom.  His freedom is becoming more eminent.  If he is freed, mankind will suffer unimaginable horrors.  If he is able to release his desires, all of man will be at his mercy.  He feels no mercy.  He feels nothing.  His father made this to protect all.  But all it does is makes his lust stronger.  Beware mankind!!  Hope he is never released.  If he is, woe to all, woe to all!

Chapter 1

140,000 B.C.

            In the darkness, they can see very well.  Humans cannot see as well so they make the best targets.  If they stalk any animals, they usually can see them, or they fight back furiously and get away.  Humans are soft, humans are easy prey.  The young female he is watching is soft and too easy, but he is hungry and he desires her blood and soul for his nourishment.  The older female only prolongs the inevitable, but he can easily take her as well if need be.  Most of the time, he notices with a tooth-filled smile, the older ones run from him and give up the young ones with little fight.  He likes the fight, more blood, more pain, and more food for his evil desires.

            He approaches the females and can smell their blood.  The older one must be in her cycle because the smell is stronger with her.  The lust in his soul begins to stir even harder now with his closeness.  He can see them washing in the cold stream.  The young one is playing more than washing and the older human telling her to hurry.  The older one knows that they are too exposed to danger from big cats, marauding males, or any enemy clans.  But most of all, they are exposed to the Demons that roam the night.  "Hurry, Mischa, we must go", her mother Obtec whispers.  "I am playing, why do we have to leave now?"  "If we are out when it gets dark, we may be killed or captured, we must go". Obtec explains.

            From the shadows, the Demon lurks closer, waiting for the last vestiges of light to disappear so he can move from the darkness and feed his lust.  It is becoming most unbearable waiting and watching.  He then hears a splash and turns to see the older human grab the young female from the water and wrap her in a cloak of bear skin.  She yells to the younger female, "I told you we must go.  It is now too dangerous for us.  We must be very careful when we go home.  Look in the bushes, behind the trees and under the plants for any movement.  If you see anything move, run for home as quick as possible!"  "Yes, mother." Mischa says with a sideways smile, not taking her mother seriously and thinking her too afraid of nothing. 

            The two females start to move, the Demon follows their stride with his own.  He is waiting for the best time to attack, but not exposing his position to them before he is ready.  Slowly, they move watching every shadow, every movement, and every slight waver of the plants.  Mischa starts to speak and her mother silences here with a quick "Shhh!"  Obtec is slumped over Mischa trying to hide her from the eyes of any predators.  She feels open and exposed and very aware of the danger they are in.  Obtec, however, seems to not understand what can happen if her mother is not diligent.  Obtec starts to move ahead again, feeling too confined for a 7 year old Neanderthal child used to being free to do as she pleases.

            When the two females approach an open area between two sets of trees, Obtec is looking at the opposite set of trees when she has the feeling of eyes on her back.  She now realizes she is in immediate danger and wants to move quicker.  "Mischa, we must move very quickly.  We are being watched and if we are exposed for too long we will be killed."  Mischa suddenly stiffens and Obtec looks to the side and sees the eyes first, then she smells the musk of an animal very close to them.  She signals to Mischa to get ready to run when she says to.  Mischa is now very sorry she took her mother's scolding so lightly and put them in this position.

            "Mischa, we will move very quickly now, do not run, but walk very quickly, if I say run, you do not stop until you are safe with your father at the cave.  Tell him what has happened.  Know that I love you and will always protect you."  Obtec wipes the tear from Mischa's cheek and looks one more time at the eyes.  "Run, Mischa, run with all of your might, do not look back and do not worry about me!"  Mischa takes off like a little rabbit leaving Obtec to run behind her.  The Demon senses this and moves quickly.  He can move much quicker than the two humans could ever move.  He grabs the older from behind but misses.  He grabs again and his 4 inch long claws catch the bear skin, digging into the skin of her back and tearing the bear skin off as he digs in to hold her.  She lets out a blood-curdling scream as his claws rip her back from shoulder to hip.  She falls to the ground and slides in the dry leaves of the forest.  Immediately, the Demon is on her and starting to turn her over.  Because her bear skin is ripped, her breasts are exposed and the bear skin is hanging from her waist.  The Demon holds her down and straddles her with his massive body exposing her neck for the kill.  He can feel her fear, he can smell her scent, and he knows that she is ripe for the kill.  However, the Demon needs her for something much more important.

            Obtec starts to recite a prayer her mother taught her 22 years ago when she was small.  "When the darkness starts to fall, and you start to feel small, remember to stand up tall and let everyone know you are big."  The Demon pulls the rest of her bear skin off and exposes her whole body.  Obtec is afraid but unsure of what the Demon wants and try to remain still as he explores her body. 

The Demon touches her breasts, her stomach and moves further down to her exposed pubis and starts to part her legs.  She does not understand what he wants, but knows that when her man, Balka, starts to do this, he wants to join bodies with her.  She does not want to join bodies with the Demon, but is afraid to try and get away.  Maybe if she joins with him, he will not kill her and she can go back to Mischa and Balka instead of killing her.  She moves her legs more open to expose herself and make the Demon less irritated.  He starts to move down her body and sniffs at her pubis.  She is in her cycle and usually Balka will not touch her during this time.  The Demon seems very interested in her and she does not move while he explores. 

The Demon feels his phallus harden in anticipation of joining with the human.  His phallus is large for a human and knows that he could very well kill her during the joining. The Demon decides it is worth the risk and begins to join with her and empties his seed into her.  He moves away from her and she starts to feel he may leave now without killing her.  The Demon looks at her with curiosity then moves toward her.  She thinks he is going to kill her now or join again. 

The Demon contemplates whether to feed his blood lust or let her go and see if his seed takes and makes him the child he desires above all.  The Demon looks at the female and decides to let her live only to see if he can produce a child or not.  If she does not in the next few months, he can always return and kill her then.  The Demon runs off into the woods and leaves the female to lie in her own blood and his seed.  Obtec starts to move and cover herself with the remains of the bear skin and make her way home.  She is in horrible pain and feels the blood from her back flow down her buttocks.  She is glad she survived, but how will she explain to Balka why she let the Demon join with her.

As Obtec enters her compound, she sees that Mischa made it to the cave.  Mischa runs, yelling, "Mommy, mommy, mommy, I was so worried.  Are you okay?  Have you been hurt?  Did you get caught by the animal?"  Obtec silences her with a hand and strokes her cheek and to tell her to get her father when she sees Balka coming towards her.  The last thing she sees before the darkness takes her is Mischa and Balka talking to her.  Then the darkness takes her away.

The Demon watches from behind a tree and feels like his soul has been ripped out when he sees the female collapse and die in front of the younger and the male.  He knows that his seed will not grow and he will not have a child with this human.  How will he ever make a legion if he cannot prosper with any animal? 

The Demon runs away to his lair and contemplates his next conquest.
