"Mar slow down girl." I chuckled at my little sister who excitedly ran ahead of me as we both were walking back home from the park.

I decided to take Marli out since I didn't have practice or weight lifting today. Soon as I heard the news after class I happily picked Marli up from my Aunt Summer's house and we went straight to the park. I was glad to see my baby sister, we don't get to spend as much time as we used to since school started back up and that's not how I want it to be. I noticed that she grew a few inches taller and her hair grew much longer then the last time I seen her, and she's speaking more clearer. I just missed my baby girl.

"Nia!" She stopped and pointed towards the house as she grabbed my hand pulling me forward.

Zania sat on the hood of her car with two grocery bags dangling from her hands. She wore black Nike leggings with a matching zip up jacket, matching hat as her hair was down and her headphones around her neck.

"Where you coming from?" I ask as I finally stood before her.

"Track try outs." She reply handing me over the bags she held.

"Hey Nia!" Marli held her arms out for Zania to pick her up as we all made our way inside the house.

"Hey pretty girl."

We all walked inside the kitchen as I sat the grocery bags down on the counter. Hoping up on the counter I quickly took my phone out my pocket capturing a picture of them two fully engrossed in their conversation.

"Are you recording us?" Zania looks over at me smiling.

I smirked shaking my head. "No, I took a picture."

She shook her head. "Creep."

"Nia guess what? Marli excitedly ask Zania as she sat in her lap on the counter.

"What?" Zania eagerly asks.

"I'm a big girl, I tied my shoe today." She proudly smiled showing off her small teeth.

"Did you? Oh I'm proud of you pretty girl." Zania cooed as she pulled her into a hug then smothered her face in kisses making her crack up laughing.

I walked over to them and scooped her up in my arms as I tossed her in the air making her squeal as I caught her. "You promise to be my little baby forever?" I ask her.

She vigorously shook her head. "No, I'm not baby. I'm a big girl now."

I pretended to pout as I sat her back on the counter and rested my head in her lap. "I don't want you to be a big girl, I want you to stay like this forever.

She patted my head then leaned down and kissed it. "It's otay, I be a good big girl."

I pretended to wipe my imaginary tears before looking up at her. "Promise?"

She shook her head up and down while holding up her small pinky finger as I locked mine around hers as I smiled. I couldn't ask for a better sister, she my world.

"Mar you hungry?" Zania ask her as she was in the process of fixing a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

"Yes."

After a few seconds she completed the sandwich and placed it on a plate with two cookies on the side. "Here you go mamas."
