It was Saturday afternoon and the weather was finally feeling good in New York. The streets were busy as usual and traffic was ridiculous at this time of day but that didn't stop Ian from making his trip to the mall. He decided to go pick up his mom a early birthday gift since her birthday was this month and he knew if he didn't buy her anything she would fuss about it
every chance she got.

Ian was happy his parents were working things out not only for them but for Marli as well. Even though they gave Ian the option to move back in with them, he refused not wanting to give up his place.

"Yo" he spoke into his phone, as he walked into a store.

"Aye, where you at?" Zack asked. Ian was half paying attention as he looked on the rack of clothes to see what looked nice.

"Uh, I'm at the mall. Why wassup?" He held a shirt up before quickly looking putting it back. He knew his mom had expensive taste so he had to get her something nice.

"I was gone ask if you wanted to come thru and get ya ass bust on Call of Duty." Ian could hear Massiah loud ass yelling about 2K cheating, and music playing.

"You've never bust my ass on Call of Duty, what is you saying?" He laughs, walking over to the next rack.

"You a lie nigga."

"Get off my line, I'll see y'all ugly niggas later." He hung up before Zack could say some slick shit back.

Walking further into the store it was nothing but females shopping. While everybody walked around like they knew what they were doing Ian was completely confused. He didn't know what to get and it didn't help that he could feel a group of girls staring at him from across the room.

"Hey Ian." A soft voice spoke, her New York accent was strong.

There stood a 5'4 brown skinned girl with black shoulder length hair. She was thick in the right areas and had pretty white straight teeth. Ian knew her from school, her name was Heaven. She was known for rocking all the designer shit and she kept her self up nice.

"What's good Heaven." Ian looked over her body but turned his head before she could notice. She was attractive to him but he wasn't feeling her like that.

"Just doing some shopping. You must be here with ya girl." Ian noticed her looking him up and down as she played with a strand of her hair.

"Nah I'm by myself. Why ya girls keep staring?" He points to the group of girls that were caught still staring his way. Ian was use to people coming up to him asking him to take pictures and whatnot but his biggest pet peeve is when people just stare without speaking.

She shrugged while shaking her head. "I don't know. I told them I knew you but they still wanna act mad scary." She laughs.

Heaven always secretly had a crush on Ian but she never had the courage to speak on it. She was a cheerleader so when she would be at the games she would always secretly cheer for him and look her best. Now looking at him now, made her skin tingle.
