CHAPTER NINE | RED EYES

"Is this because of Billy?" Calum suddenly said.

"No..."

"You're lying... I can read your mind if I want to. Why do you even try to lie to me?" He said upset.

"Calum-"

"Is there something between you and Billy? Do you like him?" He asked with a sadly expression.

"No!"

"Then why are you so weird? You're acting weird since Billy came here last night. What happened?"

"It didn't happen anything Calum!"

You tried to put your mind in white so he couldn't try to read your mind. You started thinking about your past life, and Calum started looking at you. He was trying to read your mind, but all you could think of was your past life. The life he took away from you. He wouldn't know about you and Billy.

"Listen..." He said a got loser to you "I know you miss your past life, but you can't go back to it. They're looking for you, they want to find you and I can't let you die. You have to lie to Billy and keep acting like you're a demon, okay? He can kill you, and... I know you're scared because of it... I'm sorry you have to go throught this thing..." He hugged you and kissed your temple.

"I know... And I thank you, for taking care of me" You said rubbing his arm.

He looked at you, he got closer and he was kind of leaning in but you had to stop it.

"Well..." You said looking to the side "I should get dressed... Didn't you have training today?"

"Yeah..." He snorted "I have to get ready too" He said putting his lips in a line.

"Okay... See yah" You said and went upstairs.

You got dressed and you went downstairs. There you could see Calum was waiting for you with his tracksuit on. He smiled and took his keys.

"Okay, let's go" He said " Wait..." He stopped.

"What? What's wrong?"

"I forgot, nobody can see you. They're gonna suspect..."

You stood there looking at Calum. You wanted to go and see them train.

"I know what we can do" He said smiling.

"What?"

"I can make your eyes red with my powers. Most of the demon girls have red eyes." He said.

"Okay... Then... Do it. It's gonna hurt?"

"No... Just give me a few minutes" He said and got closer to you.

He rubbed your cheek with his thumb and he kissed the side of your mouth. You blushed, and then he looked deeply into your eyes. You closed your eyes cause they were burning, and then you opened them.

"You look beautiful with red eyes" He smiled.

"Do I have red eyes now?" You asked.

"Yes, look" He said and turned you around. There was a mirror behind you, you looked at yourself and damn... Red eyes looked cool.

"Wow... Cool" You laughed.

"Haha, let's go or we're gonna be late" He said and you both left.
