Mason's POV:

Did she know? Did Kat know she was more than human, because she seemed too calm.... too familiar with this crazy ass situation. I mean I sure as hell wasn't familiar with finding out the love of my life is more than a human, so how could she be.

No.

There was no way.

I think I realized what Kat really is... but if she is then I will lose her forever.

I knew this had to be it, there was no other explanation.... but if so.... no one could ever know.

Kat's POV:

Mason knew. I could tell by the reaction plastered on his face.

He knew.

So he spoke softly and calmly, "Kitty Kat..... I think I figured it out. I think I know what you are.... I mean I could be wrong but I don't think so."

He went on explaining to me that when he was younger his parents told him about the different types of blood that other creatures in this 'place' have. Mason said that he never really paid attention but there was always one creature that stood out for him because of a very weird quality their blood possesses.

That creature, which had always intrigued him had blood that changes flavor.

Just. Like. Me.

But he also went on to say that this species of creatures are supposed to be extinct, even in their realm of the world. Finally Mason said that before their extinction the species was cast out and any forms of communication with them was considered treason.
