Okay you guys have my complete permission to kill me for taking so long to update. But I have had a lot going on and some real crappy writers block. So sorry but here it is.

Mason's POV:
Fuck, I am such an idiot. Why did I turn her, sure I told myself that it was for her own good but honestly I think I just did it for myself. I don't know if you guys know this but, when a vampire turns a human it gives them a sudden surge of power and euphoria that is impossible to resist. And I did that to her, without even considering what the consequences could be for her. I love her, and this is what I do to repay her.
I have no idea what it going to happen to her, and that's completely ignoring the issues that will arise if any vampire, especially my brother, finds out. She deserves so much more than this. Someone who can give her the life she deserves and the life she always wanted. One where she gets married, has kids, and gets to grow old with her true love. I really can't give her any of that (especially the growing old part), and instead of letting her go so she could have that kind of future I threw her into my world with little to no hope of escape.
This was never her problem and now she has even more to deal with.
A sudden knock on the door was what snapped me out of my thoughts. And all I could do was hope it was just a servant and not my brother.

Kat's POV:
"Ummm Mason.... I hate to bring this up, but there is someone at the door and I think it would be real bad if someone found out I was here so what should I do?"
Mason was seriously stunned, but i mean I don't blame him. So I took the initiative to handle the situation as i saw fit, because obviously he was to stunned to do anything. So I quickly fixed the bed and fixed his clothes before running and hiding in the closet. Now let's hope he got the hint and went and answered the door before the person knocking got suspicious.
Okay I think Mason got it, because I can hear what i assume is him talking to someone else by the door. It sounds like a man I think, and Mason sounds angry and defensive.
After what felt like an hour Mason stopped arguing and I was able to come out of the closet I was hiding in.
"What was that all about?" I asked Mason as gently as I could. He stilled seemed a little on edge after that 'little' confrontation.
"Oh Kat don't worry it was nothing you have to worry about." Mason said.
"No, tell me. If it made you this angry and defensive then I have a right to know."
"Fine. Kat that was my brother... an he was here because he thought he sensed human."
"What the hell Mason!!! That is something I have to worry about. And you almost didn't tell me."
"I know Kat, I know. I just want to keep you safe until I figure out what to do with our little situation. What I've been thinking is that.... be warned you may not like this idea... but I thought that maybe... I could present you as my... wife."
His wife.
You have got to be kidding me.
