Alyssa woke to the sound of a door smashing into a wall. She froze, terrified that it was going to be him, that we was going to burst in here and beat her senseless, again. Another door crashed open. "What was going on?" she thought. She wished desperately that she could leave before she had to find out. Another door crashed into the wall. She began to hyperventilate. She remembered back to her days as a kid, playing hide and seek. She would always lose, because she would jump out of her hiding place and let the others find her, because the anticipation had gotten to her. She wished that he would just walk into her stupid room and get it over with already. This was torture. She began to choke on her gag again. Tears streamed down her cheeks as another door smashed open, closer this time. Her body began to spasm. Finally, she slumped to the ground, half-conscious, terrified out of her wits, exhausted and in pain. Another door, across the hall from her, she believed, crashed open. She whimpered softly. She decided to try, once more , to pretend to be unconscious. She tried to relax her limbs, and laid in a believable position. Finally, she heard a click, and knew the door had been opened. The door did not crash into the wall this time, but was carefully swung open. She almost didn't hear it. Alyssa risked a glance. Chad was standing there, sneering evilly. She closed her eyes and waited for the club to strike.
